No one has opened the locket except from the original maker who put something inside.
The original maker was the witch of the sun, she made it so that she and her family would always be safe and if in dire need they could open it and the magic inside would create a temarery focefield around the wearer.
The owner now is a direct descendant of the wich of the sun but the magic now is watered down and hardly noticeable in callie
