What once was a Domain of Dread ruled by hunger and starvation is now The Candy Realm, a fey realm transformed and full of all the childish wonder of candy and sugar.
The Candy Queen rules this domain now. Formerly an Astral Fairy, when the Citadel was attacked and those fey forced to scatter she and several friends decided traveling through the other realms was better than heading for the material plane.
It was on this journey that they came across the abandoned Domain of Dread, its ruler slain by adventurers and the realm in chaos as the power vacuum led to infighting. By banding together the fey were able to claim rulership, and for a while a total of six ruled.
Yet one by one they have vanished, leaving only the Queen herself. She claims to have no idea what happened to the others, and at least for now her subjects believe her.
