Her mother was the high queen of the fae, before she and most of the fae were murdered. that was the last time the Fae and the Sledra Fae were able to live together in peace. the fae were scattered and hunted to near extinction. Asteria managed to get away and hide out in Endora. she had no interest in regathering the fae to rule over, she simply wanted to survivie. she would travel from town to town and continent to continent for years, until a young fae woman named Gaia was born into the Whitewood family, a royal family. when Asteria heard of this she went to Whitewood to live where it was deemed safe for the fae. she disguised herself as human, using glamours and other magic spells to hide her fae features.
