Velvet was born along with her sister Rose Wenser and like her sister felt overshadowed by her as well. She thought that Rose always stole her parents attention with her stunts and rebellions. She spent her time in lessons or with her parents or their guests. While Abraham Wenser was their perfect man she was their perfect daughter. And she was happy. She didn't like being unusual or getting in trouble. She didn't want to run around and be wild. She was always gentle and compassionate. And for some time had not spine.
It was after Rose Wenser began to deteriorate from mimicry that she began to grow as a person. Rose began to become meaner, snapping at Velvet more than anyone. Velvet learned to snap back, defending herself when it became too much.
Even then Velvet's death shook her more then she would admit. At just 20 she should have been out living not ending it all.
She spent a month or so getting to her feet before fully returning to society. A month later she met [[Character-528010]] and they began a formal courtship two months later. They were engaged when she was 22 and wed that spring. It came out that she was pregnant a few months later and gave birth to little girl they named Rose. However only a month after her birth she came down with a cold and with the baby's underlying heart issues she could not fight it off and died.
It took months to get over the death for the couple. However as Oliver began to take over for his father they managed to get over the hump. Now shes pregnant again and is 5 months in to her pregnancy.

Velvet Wenser had always grown up in her twin sister's shadow. Where Velvet kept her brown hair long Rose had chopped it off in a fit of anger. Where Velvet's complexion was pristine and perfect her sister's was littered with freckles and specks of dirt and grime. She was paler than her sister as well, not having spent so much time in the sun.
Most of her days she was sitting in the parlor with her mother, listening in on the political gossip of the hour.
