Name Meaning/Significance

Cassandra's name refers to the Trojan Princess-Seer of Greek Mythology, whom after rejecting the Olympian Apollo after he gave her the power of Prescience, cursed her so that she wouldn't be believed. This would inhibit her from informing the Trojans of the correct course of action to return the Spartan Princess Helen to prevent the fall of Troy, which only earned her the ridicule and mockery of the Trojans. Later, during the destruction of Troy, Cassandra would hurry to a temple and pray to the Goddess Athena.
Suddenly, Ajax the Lesser takes her from the temple and then violates Cassandra, this later earns him a swift death at sea.
Cassandra would then be taken as a slave by the High King Agamemnon, who she tries to warn of their impending death at the hands of the Queen Clytemnestra, much to her horror, Agamemnon doesn't heed this warning, leading to their deaths.

This name befits Cassandra well, as she was given Prescience Powers by COGNITOS, allowing her to see the outcomes of any and all actions that can happen, which is both a blessing and a curse, as on one hand, she can help sense a disaster that would occur if an action were taken, and take action against this potential disaster.
On the other hand, this doesn't do favors for Cassandra's mental health, as she drives herself nuts over what could and what can't happen, as well as the Morality of her revealing of what fellow Beings will do under certain circumstances. Cassandra also struggles with the Morality of her knowing the thoughts of others, with all of this fatiguing her mind to extreme levels due to the Stress and Pressure. Add this to her Shy, Awkward, and Introverted personality, her struggling with the idea that Free-Will doesn't exist due to her Psionic Insights, as well as her shunning from normal PentaCorp/Mecharus society due to the one happenstance with Loxias, and it becomes obvious why Cassandra has troubles in some aspects of her existence.

Physical Age and Mental Age

  • Cassandra was born on September 29, 2053, making her 46 Human Years Old [HYO]/ 4 Mecharus Years Old [MYO] during Thanatos' initial rebellion (2099 AD/209 MST).
    [Nanitus: Designated Hero Info]

Cassandra was 47 HYO at the beginning of the Mech Wars and
146 HYO at the end of the Mech Wars (2100 AD/210 MST to 2199 AD/219 MST).
[Nanocide: the Mechanomachy, Nanocide: Terror Machinations, and Nanocide: Spider's Spawn Info]

Cassandra was around 197 HYO/19 MYO at the beginning of the mass extermination of all Mechanical Lifeforms by the Conglomeration, and 382 HYO/ 38 MYO at the end of the extermination, retroactively declared as the Obliteration Omega.
(2250 AD/225 MST to 2435 AD/243 MST)
[Nanocide: Designated Target Info]

Cassandra was about 514 HYO at the beginning of the Department of Unity's rule (2567 AD/ 256 MST).
[Nanocide: Beginning of the End Info]

Cassandra's age was 946 HYO during the beginning of the voyage on the Starship-Ark Tranquility to another Solar System for habitation (2999 AD/ 299 MST), and 1067 HYO at the end of the Tranquility's journey (3120 AD/ 312 MST).
[Nanocide: Project Infernity Info]

Finally, Cassandra was 1316 HYO/ 131 MYO during the founding of the first USST [Universal Sapient Species Treaty], in which physical time was deemed irrelevant by the new Government in regard to Immortal and Mechanical Beings, instead being replaced by the Mental Age of a given Being.
[Prelude to Nanocide: Obliteration Omega.]

From then onwards (3369 AD/ 336 MST), even during the rising and falling of over 43 versions of the USST due to political instabilities and wars, the HYO/MST of the individual didn't matter, all that mattered was the Mental Age and Maturity demonstrated by the individual.
[Nanocide: Obliteration Omega.]
Speaking of...

Cassandra's Internal Human Mental Age (IHMA) throughout all of this remained at Late-Teens [17-19] IHMA to Early 20s IHMA., as can be ascertained via her physical and mental behavior lining up with this age range.

Role - What is Cassandra’s role in your story?

The Forlorn Foreteller

Redux Character Bio

"With the capability to accurately predict what could happen if certain events take place, the Mech known as Cassandra has both gained much from this and lost much from this.
On one hand, Cassandra was able to predict tragedies and inhibit disasters from taking place.
But on the other hand, Cassandra's mental health was on the down low, she was being overwhelmed by every single possible future that could take place, the awkward feeling that comes with being able to read the minds of others, and her conceptions of Morality and Free Will. With this culminating into rumors spurred on by Loxias that she was a selfish, crazed lunatic driven insane by the visions, as well as causing her own predictions for her gain.
This wouldn't deter Cassandra from trying to help others with her peculiarity as much as she could, trying to warn and console others of the future.
But the opening of the Mech Wars had prompted her to join SYMS alongside the rest of her fellow Rogue Mecharus and stop the now corrupt Thanatos, as well as all the others that join him in provoking the Mech Wars for their own gains and ends."

Character Speech

"Why should I care if what I'm doing doesn't matter? Why should I care if something is pointless?
Is the Ego of the common Mech so weak and pitiful that actions are only taken when they matter in the grand scheme of the cosmos and change the lives of anyone and the state of everything forever?
If what I do helps even one Mech or Human, and relieves them of their burdens and sadness, then that's reason enough.
And if what I do makes me happy..

Well, I'm happy.

Why should I pointlessly sacrifice my Happiness and the Happiness of the others that I help for the fruitless and pointless pursuit to find something that 'matters' and affects everything unendingly?

And most importantly, why do others have to depend on some other, outer force to be Moral?
I think it says something about your Morality if the only thing keeping you from Amorality is someone threatening you with punishment.
It is shameful that according to many, we have to be punished in order to be decent Beings.

So, for anybody that finds this Log, don't do things because they help you to gain status and fame, do them out of the goodness of your wires and circuits. Don't abide Morality for the sole reason that you will get punished by the scary wraith in the corner of your eye, or the big ever-watchful God-King AI that resides in the sky.
Instead, follow Morality for the simple and admirable reason that being Moral is simply beneficial for both you and the others that surround you.

And finally, just do what you actually love doing in this life. While we are Mechs, the Universe will die someday.
Don't restrict yourself to a line of endless servitude for some abstract Goal that may never be achieved, after all, as long as Morality still exists in your actions, if you're happy, then quite simply..
You're happy, and frankly, that's enough.
If you want, you can help others and make the existence of others more bearable via kind and good deeds, and that's also completely fine.
But as long as you're not actively indulging in insidious acts, then you're in the OK too.
And last but not least, don't sacrifice yourself for a system that wouldn't do the same, why should we die for a system that merely sees us as puppets?
As quite frankly, anyone who would gleefully die for a cause they don't even understand are idiots.
So go out and make your own move. Don't worry about propaganda that selfishly invites all that see it to die for it, and just live your existence the way that you would have if the ideology didn't exist.
So all in all, what I'm trying to say is, simply..
Be honest to yourselves.

Affiliation

  • At first, Cassandra was one of the official Seers, but her status as a Seer would take a toll on her mental health. With her ability to essentially predict the futures that could come true, fatiguing, the atrophying of what Social Skills she had, and coming to the somber conclusion that Free Will doesn't exist.
This would culminate with Loxias renouncing Cassandra for politely rejecting his advances, spreading rumors of her insanity, her being the herald of misfortune, Cassandra causing her own predictions for self-gain, and her lack of belief in Free-Will.
This would cause the ostracization of Cassandra, with her being alienated from Mecharus Society from there onward, but this wouldn't cease her desire to help, as malicious as it may seem to the misinformed others.
She would be hired by individuals that couldn't get high-end and trusted Seers like Calchas, to help in predicting various things.
Cassandra would also help others as much as she could, although her trustworthiness was in question by a fair many Mechs due to Loxias's debacle with her.
Cassandra was then abducted by the Mech Kings Agamemnon and Ajax, being forced to live as their Concubine and Sex Slave, with Ajax in particular abusing and violating her numerous times.
She would eventually befriend Agamemnon's daughter, Iphigenia, who was horrified after she learned of how Cassandra came into her father's possession.
After much toiling and non-consensual activities to her chagrin with either Ajax or Agamemnon, Cassandra would escape during the confusion of Thanatos' rebellion by the help of Iphigenia, a friend of hers, the Psychopomp Io, the unwilling fighter Dreadnaught, and competent but conspiratorial Cyborg Hacker Null the Joe

[Nanocide: the Mechanomachy]

After the initial chaos, and eventually escaping the tyrannical mess that Thanatos's Mechavius became, Cassandra affiliated with a group of Mecharus and Humans that initially included Io, Null the Joe, Peregrine, The Slicer Skater, Iphigenia, HADES, Prometheus , Artemis, Polyxena, Dreadbomb, Hermes, Dreadnaught, Automaton, Blowstick, Crackpot, Cobblecord, Deadburst, Griffin, Hotlink, Hooligan, The Blip, Mace-Mine, Missle-Mire, Mirmaedos, Terminus, ArachniDOS, Hephaestus, Chainpain, Arachne, Swarm-Master, Orpheus, Echo, Dilapidator, The Indicator, Pyties, Bugger, Syrinx, Blowpump, Cutthroat, Laodice, Drillhole, Spinner-Twist, The Rattler, Burstfire, Detrax, Froix, and Tiresias.
These Beings would later seek asylum and later join the organization known as SYMS, as they had offered to take them all in under permanent asylum and protection.

Voice/Vocal Patterns

Cassandra's voice is very calm, soft-spoken and breathy, her voice is hard to hear at times due to her reluctance to raise her voice to high levels, but when it is heard, her voice extremely soothing for whomever the voice gets heard or transmitted to, individuals that come to her regularly such as Dreadnaught describe it as instilling a euphoric, tingling feeling from the base of the neck all the way to the top of their head.
Cassandra is often flattered when others speak of her voice, as these qualities are present even in an audio recording of her voice, and thus the calming and blissful effect is always present.
When talking, Cassandra uses complicated vocabulary in a paradoxical attempt to make herself easier to understand, which much to her annoyance and frustration, has a tendency to make others more confused than anything else. This leads to Cassandra simplifying what she's saying when it becomes obvious that her conversation-mate doesn't care to understand or simply can't understand.
Cassandra often slurs and sometimes stutters during parts of a long conversation, as she gets more and more invested in the conversation. On rare occasions, Cassandra just freezes in her dialogue, trying to awkwardly segue or fumble into new conversations.

Height - How tall is Cassandra?

Cassandra is around 18 Feet Tall, standing at around the same height as Io, Iphigenia, Syrinx, Eurydice, Polyxena, and other similar Mechs.
This would translate into an uphill battle for Cassandra, as she would have to go up against those like Overkill, The Victimizer, BoneHead, and other Mecharus that were double the size and bulk.

General Mass/Weight

Cassandra is relatively thin and lightweight. With her body mass being easily carriable for any medium weight Mech like Calchas, this would pose an interesting challenge for Cassandra, as she would go up against opponents that had far more mass and weight than Calchas.

Race/Species

Cassandra is a Mecharus, a Mechanical Being made by PentaCorp for their product line, with Cassandra being a special variant created via Machine Reproduction.
Cassandra's model is specifically the SR-310Psi, a model designed to foster Cerebral-Psychic Activity from a young onset, allowing them to either gain access to memories and interface with other cybernetic minds, or predict the actions and occurrences made by the others around them and the environment in which they exist in, with the latter mutation being more common
for the gain of PentaCorp.
Other Mecharus that share this body type include Agamemnon's Seer Calchas, Cassandra's Spawn-Mate Polyxena, and the wise old Sageful Seer Tiresias.

Colors of body/Skin Color

Cassandra sports a predominantly Medium-Grey Body throughout her body frame, accented by Bright Neon-Red sections throughout her entire body which are further highlighted by Bright Neon-Orange Flame Decals, her fingertips are a Light Charcoal-Black, hinting at the retractable needles that she uses on occasion to view, add, and rewrite the memories, emotions, and information in the mind of her patients and friends.

Triadae Power Systemae Ranking

Due to Cassandra manifesting Psychic and Psionic Abilities very early on, and them evolving and adapting at a slightly higher pace than Class 1 Beings, she ranks as a Class 2 Mecharus, being higher than a Mecharus that didn't have any Powers at their initial Creation and Early Existence like Burro, but at the same time, Cassandra's abilities pale in comparison to higher-fidelity Psychics like Xerxes, Fly-Eyes, The Paralyzer, Scarab, Calchas, Tiresias, and The Cadaver.

Major Dislikes

  • Cassandra hates misinformation, and even more so disinformation. She hates the very idea that someone with the very credibility and trust that she lost long ago uses that very same trust to either spread lies unintentionally or spread malicious deceit intentionally. Due to this often leading to the ruination and disaster that comes from this false information, which in turn often leads to the death and pain of the ones being misinformed/disinformed, Cassandra vehemently hates the disinformers, and will do anything to squash their influence.

alarm History
Background - What is Cassandra’s background?

Cassandra was born on September 29, 2053 to Priax and Hectate
After her stint in the Mecharite High Academy, Cassandra would apply for a position as an official Seer, to make the most of her mind-numbing ability and also to quell her insistent parents.
Much to her delight, she would be accepted as one of the Seers, with her serving alongside such notable Seers like Calchas and Tiresias. Cassandra's body was further modified in order to serve the function of a Seer. She was mildly uneased by this, as it also involved PentaCorp interfacing with her brain

Profile Description by other Characters

"Poor girl, she's experienced a lot over a short couple years. But, as the God of Fear, Cassandra here has a lot of terror to unpack. To list them all would be wasting your time and mine. But my oh my, I love the way she expresses her fear! Instead of screaming like a banshee, she whimpers in terror and worry. And that's very refreshing if I say so myself!" - The Paralyzer

Quotes in reference to the Character

"You seriously believe her?! the rambling, insane lunatic that has betrayed the very ideals of the Triad?!" - (Offentor chastises Io and Iphigenia for believing Cassandra when she comes to some realizations.)
