Pollux “Lux” (Tatsuhiko) Fukushima
Most boring guy ever
Pollux (Tatsuhiko) Fukushima is kind of nice! Which is weird, because his entire family is known for their cold behavior. He's sociable and polite to the people around him, and he has a good amount of people he's friends with. The entirety of Antirrhinum knows his and his brother's name, and while Castor (Kazuhiko) Fukushima upholds their family image, Lux does more of the connecting. A lot of people seem intimidated by him at first, and while Lux makes no move to really socialize fully with other people, he is extroverted enough to keep note of who people are and approach them outside of Antirrhinum or business environments. He doesn't appear a lot without his brother, however, and when he's alone, there's a noticeable shift in his behavior, though it isn't necessarily bad. A lot of the younger folk look like they idolize him.
As a Council member, Lux is usually seen participating in a lot of its social events. Lux and Castor are two of the more frequently seen Council members outside of Antirrhinum, posing as Andrew Reed's assistants most of the time while on business. Inside of Antirrhinum, Lux is given a good amount of scouting assignments, usually scouring around and searching for information about the Regime and Containment. He never misses a task, no matter how lazy he is about it, and finishes efficiently (mostly because Castor gets on him about it). Despite him asking to accompany his brother constantly, it does seem like he works faster when he's alone. "Because it's boring when I'm alone," he says, "If I wrap up quickly enough, I can bother Castor at home."
Lux lives with his brother, parents, and aunt. He doesn't talk much about his family aside from Castor, and whenever he's asked, he says that he rarely sees his parents because of their constant business meetings out of state. Even despite his disconnection with most of his family, Lux seems content with his place in the world, alongside his brother.
His birth name is Tatsuhiko, but after moving, his parents gave him the English name “Pollux.”
Most people who use his first name call him “Lux.” There are rarely any people who call him “Pollux” or “Tatsu” other than his parents or brother.
His markings don’t show up unless exerting a huge amount of magic.
He is almost never seen unless with his twin. He is well known within Antirrhinum, but nobody really knows about his personal life. He is the talkative one of the Fukushima’s.

Lux uses two different types of weapons interchangeably, both are dual weapons. His first set consists of a katana and wakizashi, also known as daisho. His second set is a customized pair of swords that fold into themselves, which he consistently carries around with him as they're fashioned into bracelets. He fights fairly quick, and combined with his Ace, he's very smart with movement. Lux is able to plot and coordinate attacks far in advance, as well as manipulate and trick his opponents into quite literally running into his weapons.

Lux is surprisingly nice for a Council member. He’s polite and friendly and sort of acts like a good friend rather than a higher up. As one of the top recruiters for Antirrhinum, he serves very well with his sociable personality and natural charisma. He knows well the power he has with his looks and his standing, and while he (probably) won’t use it against other Aces, he doesn’t hesitate when it comes to anyone else.
It can't be said that many people get close to Lux, but if you take it from Castor's perspective, Lux is an outgoing, mischievous, and slightly annoying person. He's attached at the hip when someone is close to him, usually invading other people's personal spaces or dragging people into his current task just to have some company. Some might even say he's lonely, and so he forcibly includes others whether they like it or not.
He never seems to get frustrated or annoyed by much--a factor that is both useful and annoying, much like himself. However, there is strain when his family comes up. He talks a bit too much about them. It wouldn't be odd if he wasn't praising them all the time as if his life depended on it, or selling them a product of some kind. But, in the end, he is the son of Fukushima Foundations--why would he not be a marketer?
Lux fidgets a lot--he carries around little fidget toys and frequently toys with Rubik's cubes.
He cracks his knuckles a few too many times within a couple of minutes. He says it reminds him of thunder, and he likes the ambiance of rain, so why not?
It's unsure what exactly Lux's motivation is. For the most part, it can be assumed that he wants to keep his family safe. More often than not, he's with his twin brother, Castor (Kazuhiko) Fukushima. Nobody is really sure how they both got onto the Ivory Council at the same time, but with their work coming so close together, many assume they asked Reed for accommodations, leading to this assumption.
As a Council member, however, his common goal is to essentially take down the Regime from the inside out. He’s known to incapacitate and take out officers in embarrassing ways—it’s like he’s playing with them.
Lux is very tight knit with his personal information, regardless of friendship. With most things, he looks to his brother for guidance and sticks to Castor. While Lux's outer circle is vast, his true inner group is limited to what Castor has. Together, they make a very isolating pair.
Whenever he is in need of company, he'll drag anyone along with him. He doesn't seem to like being out by himself, so even if it means dragging innocent bystanders into the horrors of the Ivory Council's work, he'll do it.
Anyone associated with the Regime is immediately put at the very bottom of his social hierarchy. He never spends a lot of time talking to them, but he'll gladly mess around with them before the Council finishes them off.
People who dislike his family's name--and more importantly, his brother's--is written off as beneath him.
He favors people who are timid or outcast (i.e. Blair Serapis (Lin Zhiyou)). To him, they're fun to drag into situations.
He is very socially adept. His cunning and ability to draw in others makes him a great recruiter for the Ivory Council, and for Antirrhinum in general.
He's skilled with the violin.
Lux is a social animal, though not to the extent of Ebony Evangeline Fidèle or Elliot Vasco. He picks and chooses his friends, surprisingly, although most people try to befriend him anyways. Socializing is a pastime of his, even if he's in the middle of battle.
He plays the violin a bit at large events.
He's a big fan of puzzles. Whether it's a piece-by-piece puzzle, a Rubix cube, or a word puzzle, he loves solving them. It can be assumed that he's a fan of boardgames as well.
Likes: seafood, socializing, music (performing, skilled with violin), alleged interest in games (both digital games and board games), some people think he likes cats, ??
Dislikes: being separated from Castor, being alone(?), ??
English (fluent) and Japanese (fluent)
I was about to say nothing but the more I think about it he’s probably depressed and also suffers from PTSD. Takes meds for it.
Zodiac sign: Gemini
MBTI: ENTP
June 2nd (21 years old)
Highschool graduate. Was in the middle of taking college classes in Antirrhinum before taking a leap year that turned into two years, then three, to focus on his role at the Council. Hasn't thought much about college for a while now.
Lux grows up in a very rich household with Castor (Kazuhiko) Fukushima. With his brother, father, mother, and his grandmother, he's surrounded by family and servants that cater to his any need.
Yeah, sure, his father is absent most of the time, and his mother is usually dragged along with him, but whose parents are perfect, right? He gets along just fine with his father, his mother visits him often, and his Sobo takes care of him and Castor when nobody else is able to. He was taught the basics of self defense from his Sobo, who spent most of her days raising the two twins up until their high school years. Lux grows very close with her, while Cas grew closer to their mother.
Lux is completely in awe when Cas gets his Ace. Their father, not so much, but Lux still thinks it’s impressive, and he asks his brother to show him every chance he got.
So, it’s weird when father started bringing around Doctor Gushiken. When Cas started having weekly doctor appointments, all of which left him more weary than before. Lux always went with, keeping watch over his sibling as he was poked and prodded over and over again. The hand spooned medicine was the worst, Lux thought, because each time, Castor’s face would squish, and he would spend the rest of the day sleeping.
Lux decides to help Castor. By making something, of course, their family was finally starting to garner attention with their potioneering. He goes up to Dreamscape, in a little hut where a nice old lady gives him herbs and recipes, and he trots back home proudly.
A man follows him, one day.
That day, Lux prepares to run, but something bright and blue blinds him, and suddenly he’s back in his room.
It’s only a few weeks later when he finds his pursuer once more, and Valios Waite himself tells him, “You are an Ace.”
Antirrhinum is a dream. He drags Cas over and they school there, train there—and life really begins when they’re offered open seats on the Ivory Council.
He drops out of the college classes in Antirrhinum and pursues the Council instead. He does more than perfect in it, even despite his lazy tendencies. He becomes a very well known figure throughout the community, and continues to excel in his work.
He grows into a competent man. He thinks it’s fun, in a sense, to catch Regime soldiers off their guard. It’s a great life, he’d say.
Ivory Council member (6th Seat)

Castor (Kazuhiko) Fukushima is his twin brother. He is Lux’s closest friend at the beginning of the series, with them often sticking together and hanging out together almost all the time. They have a very comedic relationship, where Lux throws all of his “unimportant” work onto Castor while he takes care of their social life for the both of them. It’s obvious they trust each other, and probably rely on each other the most rather than others.
When Lux first comes across Blair Serapis (Lin Zhiyou), he is immediately curious. As he is naturally attracted to more introverted people, and Blair is an Ace, it becomes some sort of a personal passion project for him to recruit Blair. After learning his history, his incident, Lux then shifts his goals to figuring out if Blair would be interested in joining the Fray. Their relationship improves significantly throughout the series, and they grow very close. Lux considers Blair his closest friend.
Ebony Evangeline Fidèle is a hilarious figure to him, and just as curious as Blair. He views her as one of the strongest people he knows, and so having her in the Fray would immediately change the tides of the brewing war. However, he appreciates her far more as a person since the beginning, rather than some sort of social experiment. She’s lively and brings movement to his life, which he craves. They, too, grow very close. Lux could almost consider her a sister.
Elliot Vasco is a fun person to be around. Although Castor (Kazuhiko) Fukushima is very antagonistic towards him, Lux believes Elliot is an important ally for Antirrhinum. He appreciates Elliot’s drive and passion for work, something Lux himself lacks, and he is happy to see his brother be engaged by something other than staying at home. Once they are closer, Lux thinks of Elliot as another close friend, believing him to be someone who almost truly understands him in some way.
Wren Huang-Hui Seraph is a fairly unknown person to him. Through Blair’s retellings, and then Lux’s actual experience with him, Lux grows to think Wren is simply egotistical. In the most uninteresting way possible, Wren is a very intelligent, hotheaded, and attention-seeking person.
Blink “Link” Stratio seems to have a bit of change to them that both Lux and Ebony have noticed. Unfortunately, they do not interact much with him, so there’s not much he can do with them when he’s fighting someone else.
Mara Quinn makes him grit his teeth, sometimes. Curious, considering he doesn’t get angry all too often, or really at all. Mara seems to have everything he has, but in some way, better. She’s closer to her friends. She’s better at connecting. Hell, she’s probably better at manipulating, if he wanted to make the comparison more petty. Something she has, it’s…more. He can’t figure it out, and maybe it isn’t jealousy, but because he will never understand what she has that he doesn’t.
Soren Jones creeps him the HELL out. He doesn’t show it, because that’s probably what Soren wants, but damn, Lux hasn’t been unsettled by a person in a while now. In some way, he’s an interesting person, but Lux doesn’t want him to stare into his soul and sins to figure out what exactly is interesting about him.
Vincent Cresthill in another life could’ve been his best friend. Or boyfriend. Or maybe his enemy, still, or someone he looked at on the street and went, “I wonder how much money you have in your wallet right now?” Another person that would be fun to toy with, he assumes.
Grew up believing in the Six Gods, but slowly lost interest throughout time and eventually stopped thinking about his religiousness in all.
