Gold is an Abyssinian cat with deep orange fur and faint darker stripes, particularly on her head. She doesn't care much for maintaining her fur, at least not any more than the average cat, though she is good about keeping her claws in good shape.

Gold is well known for slipping away from crowds without being noticed, only to be found hours later lounging on a rock in the sun. She is carefree and quick to accept change, though she does get a little annoyed when other people worry too much about trivial details. Many find that her dry, opportunistic wit and grounded attitude make her easy to be around. Though quick to defend her friends, Gold is just as quick to make lighthearted jabs at their expense, especially if she feels they've brought it on themselves.

Gold is especially fast when she wants to be, but not strong. She prefers not to get into fights unless she absolutely has to and is more likely to run away at the first opening.

Gold joined the Brigade alongside her brother Silver; though she wouldn't consider them joined at the hip or anything, they watch out for each other. She's happy just to drift wherever the team takes her.

"I doze off all the time, it's so peaceful... I'll think about food, or a mouse I was chasing, or something funny Speedy said... whatever was going on that day, I guess."

"I don't know if I've ever dealt with something that bad... but when I'm upset, I get pretty cold, I can tell you that much. I'd just like to be left alone."

"Huh... good question. Probably yell at them a little bit... but I'm sure Silver would be on them faster than I ever could. I might just sleep through the whole thing."
