Palace of Asyathlona
This is the home of the king and all of his family. It is located in Asyathlona in Terrana.
Castle
Usually referred to simply as "the palace" or "the castle".
Hundreds of people
The first floor has all the "public rooms" so the recieving hall where the thrones are kept and the formal dinning hall. Probably a couple of ballrooms as well.
The second floor is where all the guest rooms and suites are housed. Some of the live in nobles have their quarters on the second floor.
The third floor is where most of the Lower family is kept.
The Upper family is subsequently housed on the fourth floor. The king and queen also sleep on the fourth floor as it's the top floor and King Roald would probably throw the hugest fit of his life if he wasn't on the top floor.
Made of grey colored stone. Many glass windows
Housing, meetings, strategizing, prison, banquets, meeting the people
It's just the castle. It doesn't really need an address
It is where everything with the royal family happens. Heir's are born, meetings and balls are held, etc. It was also constructed after the people of the original Terrana fled from the humans into the Darkwood Forest.
Pretty low, there's a lot of guards around the palace, but there's also not a lot of crime in general.
Depends on which window you're looking out of!
Most of the people that live nearby are usually some of the noble's personal residences. The people who work in the palace are varied and vast. There are so many different types of people who work there it's hard to categorize them all.
There is a large horse stable that houses all of the inhabitants' horses and there's still a little room for more.
It doesn't get terribly hot in the summer but being made of stone it helps to keep it cooler on the lower levels. Though on fairly bad years, you don't particularly want to be up at the top of a tower all day.
Most rooms have fireplaces, and often bedroom floors are lined with furs and pelts to help keep the heat, and then if you're walking around barefoot, you're not walking on freezing cold stone.
Very secure. Lots of guards and knights but there's also not a lot of people trying to break in in the first place.
Very. Since anything nearby is literally next to the castle everything is usually kept in pretty good condition.
