"I can see how that might be uncomfortable, but that isn't always a bad thing. But is that why you said you are alone, because of the colour of your feathers? She caressed his cheek lightly. "Well, if you want, I'll keep you company for as long as you need."

He Shifted, cupping her cheek in his hand, thus encircling her with his wings. "Thank You, Thalia.."

Her face flushed pink and her eyes grew wide. She leaned into his warmth. "I think that's the first time you've said my name."

"I- O-Oh.." His flush grew deeper.

"Sorry, it sounded better in my head." She laughed softly.

He leaned down, gently pressing his lips to hers for a brief moment before jerking back.

Thalia stood there in shock, hesitantly touching her lips with her fingertips. She didn't know what to say, or what to think.

"I'mSoSorryIDidn'tMeanTo-"

She cupped both of Graye's cheeks in her hands. "Take a deep breath, you did nothing wrong so there's no need to apologise."

He looked down, too embarrassed to meet her eyes.

"You've certainly come out of your shell." She tried to lighten the mood and instantly regretted trying as she felt she made things awkward. "Sorry, I'm still a little flustered. I wasn't exactly expecting it. Not-that-there-was-anything-wrong-with-it! I mean.. Uhm.." A sigh escaped her lips. "Never mind."

"I'm So Sorry.. I've Never Seen Anything Like You Before…" He gently ran his fingers down her arm, marveling at the smooth skin.
"You're so soft and- what's the word?- pure..?"

"I assure you I'm nothing special, not in my eyes anyway." A shiver ran down her spine from Graye's touch. "There are plenty more ordinary humans like me."

"But- But You Are!"

"Thank you for thinking so, I just wish I looked like you." *Thalia chuckled softly.

"Goodness, No. You're Stunning." He Lowered His Voice Softly.

"Thank you," she half smiled, "I'm afraid I just don't see it. I see so many other women whom I hold nothing to and I get mad at myself for being jealous because it's not their fault they're better looking than me. Some people are just born with natural beauty, and I envy that."

"I Don't Understand. Are You Not One Of Those People?" He Cocked His Head.

"Not by a long shot, I'm just your average girl." Thalia laughed.

He Frowned, Touching Her Forearm. "Average Is An Understatement.."

"Then what word would you use?" She raised her eyebrows while feeling her arm tingle under his touch.

He Wrapped His Fingers Around Her Arm, Holding It Gently. He Made Eye Contact With Her, His Own Icy Blues Glowing As He Smiled.
"Brilliant."

Thalia's eyes widened and a small gasp escaped her lips. "I… your…" Words failed her.

He Tilted His Head. "Huh..?"

"Nothing, you're just full of surprises." She gave a soft giggle. "Your glowing eyes only add to your beauty, it had me stunned."

"I- Oh-"
He Flushed A Deep Blue. His Eyes Shifted Into A Sea Green, Like The Color Of Sea Foam.

"I'm Not- Beautiful.."

She tilted her head slightly, unconsciously running her fingertips through his feathers.
