Her eyes widened and her eyebrows raised in confused horror. "No, I don't believe I have… I think I would have remembered with it having such an usual name. What does it do?"

Graye pressed a button, and his human facade faded into that of a winged, angel-like man. "Casts Illusions."

Thalia didn't know whether to be shocked or just accept it. "What… You're… Am I allowed to say 'amazing and beautiful'? That's a pretty extraordinary gadget you've got there, and your wings are so alluring… I'm sorry, I don't quite know how to react." She chuckled awkwardly.

"D-Don't Be Afraid! This Is What I Really Look Like On My Planet. My Race Is Aviamorph."

"Oh honey I'm not afraid, I'm just in awe…" Her face lit up with astonishment. "Mind explaining more about your race? I'm fascinated."

His face tinted his blood color, a soft blue. "Thank You.."

"Well, Um.." He stood, stretching out arm-wings of a mottled lavender-blue.

"Why are you thanking me? Anyone in their right mind would be fascinated with you, with your race. Simply beautiful if I'm being honest. And then there's that Transaugmentor, how does that even work? I'm sorry, I have so many questions, I hope I'm not making you uncomfortable." She couldn't help but smile.

He laughed softly, rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand. It was feathered up until his fingers. "Well.. I Mean, I Have Tail Feathers Just Like Any Other Avian.."

"And The Transaugmentor Just Projects An Image Of Your Normal Race To Create An Illusion.."

"A means of disguising yourself without actually doing anything to your body, what genius designed that? Also, do you ever find yourself in an uncomfortable situation since you have so many feathers? I can't imagine what pain you may feel if something was to catch them."

"Oh.. Well. I Designed It. And I Suppose? I Get Used To It Since I'm Out In The Wild A Lot."

"The Only Problem I Really Have Is That They're Kind Of Sensitive To Touch." He shrugged, smiling shyly.

"You designed it? You're a freakin genius! She sighed, her eyes on resting his feathers. "And there went my next question."

He tilted his head in confusion. "What Do You Mean?"

"As in I was going to ask if i could touch your feathers, just to see how soft they are i dont know." She chuckled nervously, feeling her face burn up in embarrassment

"I Mean- You May.."

She slowly started running her shaking fingertips over his feathers. "They're so soft..so beautiful.."

He Bit His Lip, His Face Going A Deep Blue.

"I'm sorry if this is uncomfortable, i'll stop if you want." She smiled shyly

"I- No, No. It's Fine. It's Just New.." He shifted, leaning slightly into her touch with a soft smile.

"I Don't Mind It, Though.."

Her fingers delved deeper into the feathers, stroking them gently "I'd love having feathers like these."

Graye Shivered, his Breath Hitching In His Chest. "Th- That Feels Really Nice.."

Her eyes met Graye's and she smiled sheepishly. "I do hope im not over stepping my boundaries."

"Y-You're Not!"

He blinked, moving slightly nearer to her.

Thalia frowned slightly, raising her hand to gently touch Graye's blue cheek. "Ive never seen anyone quite as unique and beautiful, im a little jealous honestly. A human like myself holds nothing to an Aviamorph."

"I-" This only made him flush even worse. "I'm not considered really attractive by my race.. Lavender feathers are a mutation.."

"And who are they to decide that mutations are bad? Mutations are what make us unique, what make us who we are. If they can't see that lavender feathers make you one in a million then they have no sense of originality among themselves." She smiled brightly, maintaining eye contact with him.
