"Well, I couldn't see much under the mountain of makeup she had on." Eli joked.

Ella playfully rolled her eyes. "Ah, the millennials."

Eli laughed. "Tell me about it."

Ella laughed with him. It echoed in the deserted hallway, ringing in her ears almost threateningly. She hurriedly stopped.

"What? What is it?" Eli asked, stopping with Ella.

"It's awfully quiet," she said softly.

"It's….eerie. Don't think it means anything, though."

Ella looked around uneasily. Just as was about to start walking, light footsteps sounded behind her. She whirled around.

Griffin crouched down in front of his father. "What do you know about Alice Murray?"

Murray…that's the last name… Ana thought after reading Griffin's lips. She stood behind Griffin, waiting for an answer.

"What is it?" Eli asked, turning around as well.

"Didn't you hear that?"

Haile sighed. "Again with Alice?"

"Hear what? I thought we were just talking about how quiet it was." Eli joked slightly.

Ella nervously shook her head. The footsteps sounded again behind Eli. She turned to face him. "Hear that!"

"Now, I heard that." He turned around to where the sound had come from.

Slowly, a shadow detached itself from the wall and cackled.

"Yes, again with Alice. Tell us everything you know." Lia said.

"Who's there?" Eli asked, already knowing who it was.

Haile shrugged. "Not much."

"Have you already forgotten me?" she asked, sounding disappointed. Ella breathed Oh.

"Enlighten us on the things you do know."

"Joke's on you." Eli responded. "You can't kill us." He spread his arms out. "We're already dead."

Haile shook his head with a wicked grin.

Ana pointed to the bullet wound in his leg. "I think you should tell us."

Alice walked into the light. "I'm sure even ghosts have a weakness." She wiggled her fingers in Ella's direction. "Hello, I'm Alice. You must be Ella," she said with a winning smile.

Haile pretended to consider this. "How about you let me go?"

Eli shook his head. "I'm pretty sure that we're invincible now. You however…." He smirked.

Ana shook her head at Haile. "Absolutely not."
