(No, a legal minor. I’ll be 18 next month. Lol.)
“Yeah, of course,” Kasey replied juts as softly, leaning into him and resting her chin on his shoulder. “I love you, too. More than you could imagine.”
(No, a legal minor. I’ll be 18 next month. Lol.)
“Yeah, of course,” Kasey replied juts as softly, leaning into him and resting her chin on his shoulder. “I love you, too. More than you could imagine.”
(Oh lol I was confused
Have fun being an adult!)
Barry tightened his hold on her, heart thrumming happily. “Thank you. For everything.”
(Lol.
Thanks… I’m not too excited about it, tbh. There are a lot of things that will change, I guess…)
“Of course, Barr… And thank you for everything,” Kasey whispered softly, kissing his cheek.
(Oof
Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll do great)
He nuzzled into her, perfectly content to stay in this warm, peaceful bubble. “You’re welcome…”
(Mleh. I felt like my parents were just interrogating me about my future. Like, jobs and stuff. I know they care and all, but I do have a plan. Mostly.)
Kasey smiled and relaxed into him. “Gosh, what if the waitress came back right now? I’m sure she sees a lot of couples like this, though,” she chuckled.
(Oof, sorry)
Barry laughed lightly, sweeping a kiss across her brow. “I’m sure she won’t be too traumatized..” He snickered. “She’s probably seem a lot more than this.”
(Ok, it got better… We were talking about jobs and stuff that I might like to have. I have one right now, but I want to quit and get a new one, so it was nice to brainstorm and stuff. But then my stepdad mentioned little writing/editing jobs, and my mom was like, “Well, don’t you need excellent grammar for that?”
Me: “I have pretty good grammar…”
My stepdad: “Yeah, and there are all kinds of resources that can help, too.”
My mom: “Well, can any of them help her with her English class grammar?”
Me feeling kind of hurt: basically explains that I know how to use good grammar just, like, instinctively, and that’s different than knowing why we use it that way, or what it means, etc.
So, yeah. That was fun. But then we were talking about it more and everything is good now!
Sorry… That was really long…)
Kasey blushed a little at the thought, though she did chuckle a bit. “That’s true… At least we’re not, like, all over each other. Sitting in our own seats and not on top of each other…”
(Dw about it
Oof about the grammar thing, but I’m glad things got sorted out)
Barry caught a lock of her hair and began winding it around his pointer finger. “Is that disappointment I hear?” He grinned afterwards to assure her that he was joking.
“Haha,” Kasey said, rolling her eyes. She couldn’t keep her cheeks from reddening further, though. “No, it’s not. Not really.”
“I’m kidding, Kase.” He squeezed her hand.
“I know, Barr,” Kasey said softly, looking up at him with a small smile.
(Sounds good. Want me to start?
Or we could skip to afterwards. Well just have to figure out whatever angst thing we had planned.
Also, this is page 99.)
(Omg almost page 100
Do you want to plan the camping trip out in pms and do that before angst?)
(Yeah, probably. If we’re going to do it on page 100, then we don’t really have time for the angst. Lol. Unless you wanted to wait?)
(It’s up to you, but since it’s pg 100 it’d be cool to do the camp first)
(Let’s do that. Meet you in the PM?)
Kasey was so obviously excited about the camping trip. She couldn’t stop grinning or talking about it, and she had been packed a week early… Yeah, she had needed some of those clothes, though, so she ended up unpacking for a bit and repacking the day before they left.
“This is going to be awesome. I just know it is,” she babbled to Barry as she helped him pack. Well… tried to help him… She was more just talking and sighing and giggling happily.
Barry nodded amusedly, folding yet another shirt into the neat pile before him. “Sweetheart, as much as I agree with you completely and am super excited for this trip,” he paused for a second to grab a pair of pants, “I need you to calm down a little bit so that I can pack without forgetting anything.”
Kasey blushed a little and sat down in an unoccupied space on his bed. “Sorry… It’s just been so long since I’ve gone on a real camping trip, and now I get to go on one with my favorite person,” she said softly, smiling at him.
His heart pattered helplessly. “Your favourite person?” Intertwining their hands, Barry leaned forward for a light kiss.
Kasey smiled a bit and kissed him back gently. "Yes, my favorite person. So good luck trying to get rid of me." she chuckled.
Flushing slightly, Barry tilted his head. “Why on earth would I want to get rid of you?” he asked with a chuckle, brushing his thumb across her knuckles.
Kasey shrugged, smiling up at him happily. "I have no idea. But I hope you never do."
“Never,” he promised, a teasing light entering his eyes. “Unless you eat all the chocolate before giving me any. Then we’ve got a problem.”
"Hm… That might be difficult," Kasey said, looking thoughtful. "I do like chocolate a lot…"
Shoving at her shoulder, Barry twisted his face into a theatrical frown. “I trusted you, Kase.”
"What can I say? I have a small addiction to chocolate," Kasey said, her eyes twinkling as she shrugged.
Barry raised an eyebrow. “Small? Try again, honey.”
Kasey sighed dramatically and leaned into him. "Okay… Fine… I have a major chocolate addiction."
