(According to Callie and Emi it was good.)
Kasey glanced over at Barry, and her eyes widened. She shook her head, gesturing to her mask.
If she was still masked, she didn't want people to see her with Barry. That would only cause problems for them, since villains liked to use people who were important to her as leverage.
(What was it about? Also, about the Wanderer rp, we’re going to see how this number of people works for now, but if we need anyone else you’ll be the first to know)
Realizing his mistake, Barry ran right past her, pulling out his phone and pretending to call a loved one.
(I can send it to you if you'd like. Over PM.)
Kasey sighed and looked around before she slipped behind a building. Pulling her mask off, she also took off what she could of her suit so that no one would recognize her. As soon as she was finished, she stepped out and looked around for Barry.
(yeah sure!)
Barry was just rounding the corner when he saw Kasey. Almost melting with relief, he ran to meet her.
(Okay! I’ll do it in a sec.)
“Hey, I’m okay,” Kasey assured him as she met him halfway and wrapped her arms around him tightly.
Barry crushed her against him in a huge hug, his hands trembling as he held her. "You're safe– you're safe– oh my god–"
"It's okay. I'm okay," Kasey whispered, burying her face in his shoulder. "You were so right, though… I really need to know what I'm walking into sometimes."
Barry hugged her closer, burying his face in her hair. "Never do that again without knowing what you're getting into–"
Kasey nodded, shivering when she remembered being surrounded by the wasps. “I really, really hate wasps…” she whispered.
Barry couldn't make himself let her go. He just clung to her shivering form, rubbing her back.
“Can we go home? I don’t want to be out here any longer,” Kasey asked softly, still holding onto Barry tight.
"Definitely," he rushed to say, leading her quickly back to his car.
Kasey sighed as she sat in the passenger’s seat. “Thank you for being here for me…”
"You don't need to thank me," he told her, hands trembling slightly as he took the wheel. "I just want you to be safe."
"I know. Babe, I'm okay… Please don't worry about me anymore," Kasey said softly, noticing his hands shaking.
Barry nodded but didn't speak for another minute, driving back to their dorm as fast as possiblr.
Kasey sighed and leaned back into her seat again. She winced slightly, the sound of the wasps filling her mind again.
Barry pulled into the parking lot, looking sideways at Kasey. "How are you feeling?" he asked her, clearly worried.
"I'm fine. Just… ready to be home," Kasey said softly, glancing over at him with a small smile.
Barry nodded, climbing out of the car and opening her door for her. "Your room or mine? Do you want company, or to be left alone?"
(What if the Mask hears about the attack and comes to her room?)
(Oh, yeahhhhh… I forgot I was going to have him come. Lol. Thanks for the reminder.)
"My room, and… You can join me, if you'd like," Kasey said with a shrug as she stepped out of the car. "I'm probably just going to curl up on my bed and eat all of the ice cream in the freezer."
(lol np)
Barry forced a chuckle, though he felt far from happy at the moment. "I'll come too, if that's okay. I can cuddle you?"
"Yeah, that sounds nice," Kasey agreed, giving him a small smile as she pulled her keys from her pocket. Yes, she found them on the first try for once!
Barry couldn't help a smirk. "Hey, that's a first, you found your keys immediately."
Kasey blushed as she peeked over at him. "Oh, shuddup…"
Barry pecked her on the cheek, leading her up to her dorm room. “Nah, teasing you is fun.”
"You're just a meanie," Kasey joked, rolling her eyes as she unlocked the door and stepped inside.
Barry stuck out his tongue like a petulant child. “Hey, I don’t charge you for kisses, I’d say that’s pretty nice of me.”
Kasey turned and raised an eyebrow at him. “Why would you charge me for kisses? That would just be cruel.”
Barry mirrored her eyebrow raise, grinning. “Cruel to you, or to me?”
