“Hm, yeah,” Kasey breathed, opening her eyes to look up at him with a smile. “Very.”
“Hm, yeah,” Kasey breathed, opening her eyes to look up at him with a smile. “Very.”
Barry offered her a breathless smile, cheeks flushed from the heat of the kiss they'd shared. "I'm glad."
Kasey grinned back at him, still trying to catch her breath. “Well… Looks like we won’t need a fire. That warmed me up well.”
He laughed quietly, rolling back to his previous position beside her. "Mm, see? Efficiency. I'm saving the planet each time I kiss you."
"Mmhm. That you are," Kasey chuckled as she rolled back to face him. "And I get to enjoy it, too."
(Autumn reply to the Devon rpppppp)
“What can I say? Taking initiative to be eco-friendly really does pay off.” He grinned teasingly, obviously joking. “Maybe I should just stop wearing clothes all together. You know, to save the planet.”
(Omw, I did, calm down. Lol. I was driving for goodness sake.)
Kasey blushed at the thought, chewing on her lip. "Mmhm… How about we keep clothes on for now…"
(Sorry
hides face, embarrassed)
“Kidding, Kase,” he assured her, giving her a cutesy flick on the nose.
(Lol. Dw about it.
No mention of the "for now" part… Ehehe…)
"Yeah, yeah," Kasey murmured, moving to bury her face in his chest.
(Lmao)
“You’re so easy to mess with,” he teased, holding her to his chest.
Kasey pulled back to stick her tongue out at him again before burying her face in his neck. "That's because this is all new to me. I'm not used to this kind of thing," she muttered, nuzzling him gently.
(G’morning)
“Me neither,” he admitted, burying one hand in her hair. “I’m just sort of making this up as I go along.”
(Morning! How are you today?)
“Hm… Well, you’re doing a better job than I am,” Kasey chuckled softly, reaching up to kiss his jaw quickly.
(I’m fine, you?)
“You’re doing a great job,” he assured her gently. “A really great job. Don’t even worry about it.”
(I’m good. For now. Lol. We’ll see how the day goes.)
Kasey hummed and snuggled closer to him. “I’m glad you think so… Thank you, Barry. You’re an amazing boyfriend.”
(Oof)
“I love you,” Barry told her, holding her tight. “But wait— how did you do that thing? With your voice in my head
Kasey smiled up at him. You mean like this? she projected her thoughts to him again. It comes with the telepathy. I just project my thoughts to you. It’s been a while since I used it, and I don’t really ever use it because I can get a major headache from it.
Barry blinked, taking a moment to process this new information. “Oh— oh.” I can cure your headache for you~ he managed to tease, grinning shamelessly.
Kasey flushed immediately and blinked at him. “You just can’t help yourself, can you?” she sighed, burying her face in his neck again.
“Kase, you know me well enough by now to know that I have zero self control,” he chuckled, kissing the top of her head.
“Mm… That’s true. I think I have self-control enough for both of us,” Kasey chuckled slightly. “You can have enough confidence for the both of us.”
“You’re the one who gives me confidence,” he told her sweetly, “But sounds like a plan.”
Kasey smiled up at him from his statement and kissed him quickly. “That was sweet. Thank you, babe,” she said softly.
Barry shrugged bashfully, flushing lightly. “It’s true.”
“Well, it was a very cute statement,” Kasey chuckled, barely seeing his blush in the growing darkness. “Maybe we should head back inside the tent. It’s bound to get colder out here if we stay any longer.”
“Mm, I guess…” he admitted grudgingly, beginning to fold up the blanket.
Kasey shivered whe the blanket was taken away, immediately missing it’s warmth. “We should definitely continue to cuddle when we get back inside, though. You know, for heating purposes.”
“Oh yeah.” He grinned, pushing her early through the flap. “Saving the planet, one step at a time.”
“Mmhm. We’re very good for the environment, aren’t we?” Kasey chuckled softly as she moved her things closer to Barry’s.
“Oh, definitely.” He smirked, gathering the rest of their things and zipping the flap shut behind them. “C’mere.”
