Kasey scrunched up her nose as she teasingly thought about it, unlocking her door at the same time.
"Hm… Are you sure? I think that might be entertaining," she joked as the door swung open.
Kasey scrunched up her nose as she teasingly thought about it, unlocking her door at the same time.
"Hm… Are you sure? I think that might be entertaining," she joked as the door swung open.
(I gtg really soon)
"Bleurgh. Putting your tongue in someone's mouth is one thing. Watching it happen is a completely different scenario." He grinned teasingly, following Kasey inside and rubbing at his bloodshot eyes. Stifling a yawn, he sat cross-legged on the floor and leaned back against her bed. "How was your day?"
(Aw, okay. I'll be at work tomorrow, so I won't be on much.)
Kasey shrugged and yawned, turning around to shut the door again.
"It was okay. So much math, though… I think I'll be dreaming in numbers," she chuckled.
(No problem!)
Barry snorted and resisted the urge to close his eyes and drift off. Instead, he traced the crow tattoo on his collarbone, remembering. “Math is……. no thanks.” This time, he couldn’t smother his yawn. “I’ve been up since four in the morning, kill me now.”
"Why did you get up so early?" Kasey asked as she pulled her shoes off and set them by the door. She walked over to her bed and laid down on her stomach, facing Barry.
Barry turned his body so that he was facing her. “Woke up, couldn’t fall asleep, by 5:00 I gave up and went over my notes.” He shrugged lightly. “I slept more than usual though, a whole five hours, so that’s good.”
"Hm. You really should get more sleep. Have you tried tea?" Kasey asked with a smile as she looked down at him.
(I feel like they do this type of thing regularly. Lol.)
(Lol)
(I gtg in a min)
Barry sighed, lips twisting into a playfully exasperated smile. “Yes, Kasey, I’ve tried tea. It just… doesn’t work. Sleep isn’t my thing.” He let his eyes fall shut, just for a moment.
(Okay.)
"What about lavender? Have you tried that?" Kasey asked, tilting her head to the side. "It works for me. I'm out like a light when I smell it."
(Morning)
Barry wrinkled his nose. “I hate the stuff, it makes my nose itch.” He sighed, forcing his eyes to stay open. “Give it up Kase, I’ve been trying to sleep well for years.”
(Morning!)
Kasey sighed and pressed her face into the bed. She mumbled something into the sheets, but it wasn't very audible.
(How are you?)
Barry poked her in the shoulder. “What?” He pulled his knees underneath him and turned around to face her, resting the side of his cheek on the bed directly in front of her face.
(Tired because of work… Otherwise, I'm good. You?)
"You're impossible to help," Kasey said, lifting her face so she could be heard. Noticing how close his face was to hers, she blushed and backed up a bit.
(oof sorry ): I'm pretty good too, also tired because I can relate to Barry as far as sleeping goes, lol)
Barry rolled his eyes jokingly, feeling a twinge of satisfaction when he saw her pink cheeks. He scratched at the spot below his ear absentmindedly. "It's Halloween soon.", he said after a beat of silence. "I was contemplating showing up to class with fake, but very realistic, cuts and bruises all over my face, maybe a bit of blood, like I just got out of a fight. Any thoughts?"
(Oh, geez…)
"That sounds… bloody," Kasey chuckled. "I'm not usually one for dressing up. Mostly because I can never think of anything creative."
(oof)
Barry inched his face a tiny bit closer to hers, folding his arms underneath his chin. "You're creative.", he protested. "And it'll be fun, maybe we can pretend I got into a fight with another guy to… protect you. God, that's so cliché." Laughing at himself, he focused on he eyes.
"It's very cliché," Kasey agreed with a smile, backing up a bit again. "What about me, though? What should I wear?"
Barry leaned back, giving her space. Jesus Barry, you probably went and made her uncomfortable. Nice one, stupid. "Um… maybe a… witch? Cat? Some sort of goddess? Medusa?", he suggested, shifting so that he was sitting cross-legged on the floor.
"Hm… I like the goddess idea… I could curl my hair and wear it up somehow," Kasey mused, her blush dying down a bit when Barry moved back. "But you'll have to come shopping with me to find an outfit."
"Of course. Just promise not to freak out over a pair of vintage ugg boots or whatever, 'kay?", he teased. "What goddess could you be? You look sort of like how imagine Aphrodite, maybe Athena." Barry shrugged, running a hand through his hair. "Uh, Bast, maybe?"
"You think I look like the goddess of beauty?" Kasey teased with a chuckle.
It was Barry's turn to blush slightly. He did his best to recover quickly. "Mm. You have the right hair, and pretty eyes." Grinning, and very satisfied with himself, he rocked back slightly.
"Well, thanks," Kasey said with a slight laugh. "Maybe I'll dress up as her, then…"
He grinned again. “That’d be a sight to see.” Barry’s stomach growled, and he frowned slightly, rummaging in his pockets for a spare granola bar.
Kasey sat up and set her feet on the floor.
"Want something to eat? I think I still have some cereal around here somewhere," she offered.

If you need help, I recommend going to the site support forum and not a random role play lol
Kasey sat up and set her feet on the floor.
"Want something to eat? I think I still have some cereal around here somewhere," she offered.
Barry laughed sheepishly. “Yes please, sorry. I skipped lunch to study.”
"It's no problem," Kasey chuckled, standing and making her way to the fridge. She grabbed a box of Cheerios from the top and shook it to make sure there was still some cereal inside. Hearing the satisfactory sound of the cereal moving around, she handed it to Barry with a smile.
