Yes. Okay.
Zerin wandered the gravelly forest road with an eager gait, but a depressed expression upon his face. He took out his notepad, starting to write, searching for the grove of trees and river with the perpetual breeze running through. That was his Zen spot.
Xaiver had mounted his horse. It whinnied under him happily, clopping its feet. He hadn't ridden in ages, though he wasn't much of a rider, he still enjoyed it. He glanced around, then down at his cloak, which was a shimmery light blue with his family crest on it. He reached up and tore off the badly sewn patch of the crest, smiling. He'd always had been a rebellious prince. He lashed the reins and his horse set off at a steady pace, sending his long platinum blonde hair aflutter in the wind.
Zerin, being the wary type, heard a commotion along the woods. Apparently someone was riding a horse.
He scurried to a hidden bush to observe.
His scarf almost got caught in the process, and his daggers brushed against a few leaves.
(I hope you don't mind the prince thing)
Xavier hummed as he and his horse trotted along the path. It was pretty rocky, so he kept an eye on the path in case there was a rock that'd trip up his horse. But he'd taken this one in particular because it was good on rockier paths. He shut his forest-green eyes, enjoying the steady breeze and the whisper of the wind.
(We're doing medieval then? Because that works for Zerin here, who frequently hops through space, time and dimensions.)
Icey-looking but emotive eyes scanned the young man, apparently royalty of some sort. Zerin put away his notepad quickly, almost instantly cured of his depression.
(Sure. Hb we don't do supernatural? I'm trying to look at more realistic stuff)
The sunlight dappled his handsome features and made his hair sparkle magnificently in the lighting. His horse even looked amazing under him. It just suited him! But what one would find odd is that he wasn't showing himself off by going in public. Princes this handsome usually mellowed in attention.
(YEET!!! OKAY!!!)
Zerin started to edge out of the bush, walking up to the young Prince.
"Erm… Um… H-Hello…" He stammered, clutching the end of his scarf. Zerin was increasingly nervous at approaching the other Prince, even if his father was an ally of Zerin's.
(^~^)
Xavier took a slight shock but tugged on his horses reigns for it to stop. He gave the newcomer a smile that sparkled in his eyes.
"Hello there! I didn't think anyone else hung about in the forest." His voice was soft and silky, with a deep British accent.
"That was… Um… That was the impression I was under as well." Zerin said, running a hand through thick, downy, unruly blonde hair.
"You can call me Winger- I mean, Zerin… Call me Zerin. If I'm not being impolite… Well, may I um… Ask your name?"
(He is smol scared awkward bean.)
(so cuute)
Xavier smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I am Xavier. Sorry if I gave you a turn, I didn't mean to frighten you."
