Zackary laughed, straightening himself out before giving a mighty flap of his wings and shot after her.

It didn't take long to spot a small town, but the question now was if it was demon, angel, or both.
Zackary abruptly paused in the air. “Hey! There’s a town down th- AFRIEL!”
Afriel jerked to a stop and looked to Zackary. Fear creeping into her face, "what Zackary what is it?"
“There’s a town down there!” He pointed to it, squinting down after his finger. He couldn’t make out anything other than buildings and little dots of people.
Afriel let out a small sigh, "you scared me. Don't do that." She flew back to Zackary, "should we check it out?"
“You were flying so fast, I didn’t think you’d hear me. Yeah, let’s go check it out. What type of village town thing do you think it’ll be?”
"Helpfully a friendly one." Afriel mumbled. "Come on. Once we get close enough to see we'll decide."
Zackary grunted in response and started drooping down to the village, gazing down at for any winged figures.
Afriel followed closely behind Zackary. Anxiety clutching the pit of her stomach.
The pair landed nearby. Zackary crept forward, peering through the bushes at the village entrance.
(Do we want it to be easy and it be like boom! Town that excepts both, or do we want them to have to look around some more?)
(What would you rather? This is your RP.)
(Oh, well you see, I like the others in the rp to have input on stuff to. That and I suck at choosing things. So honestly its whatever you want.)
(Ooh I’m the same way tbh xD. I would rather it be easy and just have them find a neutral village.)
(Neutral it is!)
Afriel spotted Demon wings first, but not long after she spoted Angel wings. "Well that was easy."
Zackary squinted and rose out of the bushes. "Let's go say hi, then."
Afriel scrambled to her feet and followed behind Zackary. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Sure it is." He shrugged. "They're so far away from the war it's crazy. I'm sure they'll be very friendly."
"Right. Okay." Afriel nodded her head but still hung back slightly.
Zackary trotted into the village carefully and looked around. "Huh. Nice."
"Um, yeah." Afriel looked around shyly. Her gaze resting on a bakery. "Gosh. We're both broke aren't we?"
Zackary patted his wallets. "I have money… back at… Hell… dammit." He sighed. "We could go in and beg?"
"Suddenly death seems better." Afriel sighed. "If I had time I could have grabbed more stuff from my tent."
Zackary started to walk to the bakery. "They might not charge anything at all."
"Maybe." Afriel mumbled looking around more.
Zackary beckoned her and opened the door. "Let's go. Hopefully, they're nice."
Afriel awkwardly shuffled in, "hopefully."
(Nice or horribly mean?)
(Nice, obviously!)
Zackary looked around the bakery and shut the door. The bell gave a little tinkle.
(Okay. XD)
The lady at the counter gave Zackary and Afriel a weird look before speaking with a thick accent, "I'm guessing y'all don't got any money on you?" She sighed, "don't worry. We have some rolls from yesterday. They're still good though, don't worry."
