Victor stopped walking, and turned around, a look of confusion crowding his face. "Attack and kill you?" He echoed, the confusion in his expression leaking into his tone when he spoke. "Well, I don't particularly like fighting and I can't do anything with a dead Ghoul. I'm not a cannibal," Adding the last of what he said, Victor looked back in the direction in which the two had entered the alleyway through. If someone were to walk down the street they were on, it would be blatantly obvious what Victor had in the grey bag, given that there was a giant red stain on it, and the person across from him had a bloodied lower face.
Tae sighs, wiping the blood from his mouth and standing. He holds out his hand, "Truce then?"
(Sorry. Had to go do something)
Victor's eyes continuously floated back over to the right side of the alleyway, anxiety coming back to him. Turning around fully, he reached out and shook the stranger's hand. "Yeah, I've gotta put this away soon though, I'd picture it wouldn't go well if someone else saw me with this." Just as the words had left Victor, Hiyori peaked out from around her place against the wall of a building. In her hand, she held a notebook as well as a pen and began jotting down brief descriptions of the two. Her nose wrinkled at the smell of the leaking bag and freshly opened packages.
Tae stiffens, jolting his head around and snarling at the women, "Shit…"
Hiyori's eyes widened as she realized that she had been spotted by one of the two, feeling as if all of the air in the city had been drained. Instantly, she dropped the pen and notebook and grabbed her suitcase, her index finger directly on the release button. Her blood ran cold as the two stood there, and she hoped that they would turn and high tail out of the alleyway. But this was wishful thinking, she knew, as Ghouls didn't want their faces to reach the authorities.
Victor stood puzzled for a few moments, before whipping around to where the stranger's eyes had gone. From behind a brick wall, a woman with a book and pen was looking at them through wide brown eyes, her things now on the ground. Catching a glimpse of the suitcase in her left hand, Victor dropped his bag.
(It's glitching so sorry in advance)
(No, it's fine. I'm getting the same thing on my laptop).
"Get out of here!" Tae yells at the other Ghoul, facing the woman, "She's an offical and she saw us." He snarls, putting his mask back on quickly
Victor hesitated for a few moments, snatching his mask from the joined pockets of his hoodie before fastening it around his face. Spinning around, he sprinted towards the other end of the alleyway, slinging the bag back over his shoulder.
Hiyori's finger pressed down on the release button, causing a set of bright red Rinkaku tentacles to sprout from the end of a handle. Instantly, a feeling of dread hit her, but she pushed it to the back of her head. 'One of them is almost gone!' She thought, seeing more obviously now that the Ghoul who had yet to try and run off was quite covered in blood in a few spots. His hands we spotted and there were a few streaks on his face. "If you comply with me, and surrender we won't have to fight here," Hiyori said, looking farther down the street. The man who had begun running had paused.
Tae crouches slightly and two brightly colored, red and violet tenticals rip through the smoll of his back. He snarls, "Get away!"
Hiyori narrowed her eyes at the man, and raised her hand, ready to swing the Quinque. "You know I can't do that, not when something so disgusting and violent is in front of me!" Suddenly, Hiyori's wrist snapped forward as she swung the weapon at her opponent.
Letting out a hiss through his teeth, Victor ran back over to where the Dove was, his skin crawling as he watched her take out the remnants of a long dead Ghoul. He had always wondered how investigators could stand this, Ghouls were the same as humans. Only, their insides were different; the emotions and features were still there.
Tae leaps out of the way and shoots forward, using his own Kagune to propel him toward the woman.
'Just my luck,' Hiyori thought, 'the other one has come back.' Holding the handle behind her back, Hiyori made a harness type cage around herself with the Quinque as to deflect any head-on attacks. Her eyes flashed with a brief sense of fear as the man pushed himself forward.
Victor soon was back where he had been before; feeling a slight sting on his lower back, he watched from the corner of his eye as his Kagune formed, becoming more solid in the seconds that followed.
Tae crashed to the top of the woman's Quinque. His own Kagune trying to stab through the thing, "Get out here! Hey! Dude! Get out of here!"
Hiyori jumped back as her arms gave way to the pressure the man was applying to the Rinkaku appendages, aiming a blow at his legs, she swiped.
Victor's eyes flashed with a bit of anger as his Kagune faced forwards, curling over his head and aiming at the woman. "Why should I have to? She saw my face too!" He yelled above the noise, weaving his way closer to Hiyori.
Tae roars as the Rinkaku slashes his right leg near the calf.
Hiyori's arms shook badly as she readied herself once more to either defend herself or aim an attack. The applied pressure that she had to fight off previously, had left her arms weak and wobbly. No matter how great of a shape she was in, that didn't change the fact that a Ghoul's strength was incomparable to hers.
Victor flashed forward, taking advantage of the opening in the woman's movement to jab at her side, ripping through the fabric of her shirt as well as dealing a messy slash. He looked over to Tae, then back to the Dove; there wasn't much he could do now, or later for that matter for him. The wound would seal itself up soon anyway.
Tae stumbles away slightly, dragging his foot with him.
(I have to go, but I'll be able to reply tomorrow)
Previously holding the handle with both hands, Hiyori's left hand fell away to hold her side. Blood now poured steadily from an opening in her side but was slowing over the moments that followed. With her remaining free hand, the investigator gripped the handle more harshly now, whipping the Quinque back behind her to pull her back and a few feet away from the two Ghouls.
Tae huffs as his wound heals itself quickly. He stands straight and snarls, "Crap…" He charges out into the street, nearly getting run over, and jumps up onto a railing for height advantage. Even though it wasn't very much
(Sorry in advance, my replies are going to be spotty for a while.)
Giving a final push from the handle of her Quinque, Hiyori hit the release button on the metal bar, causing the Rinkaku to dissipate into red vapor. Closer to the alleyway now, the woman scooped her notebook off of the ground and ran off, pushing her way past the occasional person walking on the sidewalk. As she picked up in pace, blood began pumping from her side once again, causing her pace to slow.
Tae looks over at the other Ghoul, "Should we just finish her off now? Or… Run?" He was still crouched on the railing, his fox like mask a bit skewed.
Victor stared after the woman for a moment, his head racing. "If we kill her there will be more investigators, which is worse than just one with a loose description." He said, stumbling over his words slightly as he as out of breath.
Tae coughs as his Kagune disparate and he jumps down from the railing, jogging over to the other Ghoul, "Ok? So. What now?"
