Cameron leaned his head on her head. Personally he felt if she was planning on marrying him, the throne was out of the question.

(The whole point of this RP was to find her a prince so she could marry him and become the queen, but that has changed due to Cameron being the heir to his throne… Lol.)
Lilah wrapped her arms around him. She wanted to comfort him, but she also needed comforting, so she did what she thought would help them both: cuddle.
(i apologize)
Cameron nuzzled into her hair with a faint sigh, shutting his eyes. She was so warm…
(Nah, it's cool. I think she'd be better suited to not be the queen, anyway. She's too shy.)
Lilah's arms tightened around Cameron. She didn't want to let him go. Not now, not ever.
(Ya I was thinking that too. But I still think she makes good royalty.)
Cameron relaxed into a doze, shutting his eyes.
Lily barked softly, wiggling out from between them.
(Thanks. I hoped so.)
Lilah looked at Lily with a smile. Oops… She'd forgotten about the puppy.
Lily made disgruntled puppy noises and settled down in the sheets.
Cameron hadn’t reacted to Lily moving, merely continued resting.
Lilah sighed again and snuggled closer to Cameron. Maybe she should sleep, too… Or shower. She definitely needed to do that eventually.
That’s a nod to the fact that they were still in their wet bathing suits. Cameron didn’t care, for one, and slept on.
"Cam…" Lilah whispered, lifting a hand to poke at him. "Cam, we should shower and change…"
Cameron unwrapped himself from her. “You can go first, then.”
"Okay. I'll be back in a bit," Lilah said, kissing his nose before standing and grabbing a new set of clothes.
Cameron smiled but felt it slide off of his face as she left. He sighed gently, unable to get her father’s words out of his head.
Lilah sighed as she stepped into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. She set her clothes down and turned the shower on before glancing in the mirror. Her face was splotched with red, evidence of her emotions.
With a shake of her head, she undressed and climbed into the shower.
Lily borked softly at Cameron, who didn’t stir from his stupor of emotions. He shook his head.
I’m just an underbreed. Insufficient. Worthless.
Lilah stood under the water for a moment before groaning and rubbing her face with her hands. She needed a distraction. Something, anything, to take her mind off of what had just gone down.
After about twenty minutes, she turned the water off and climbed out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel. She quickly dressed in pajamas, aka a loose t-shirt and sweatpants, and stepped out of the bathroom.
"It's all yours, now, Cam," she said softly, grabbing her hairbrush from her dresser.
Lily offered Cameron’s response, which was a faint whine. Cameron himself obviously didn’t respond, merely continued staring at the bedpost.
Lilah turned to face him, worry clouding her face again.
"Cam…?" she murmured as she stepped closer to him.
Cameron twitched awake and looked up at her. His eyes were fuzzed over and distracted.
“Mm. Done?”
"Yeah, I am. Are you sure you're okay?" Lilah asked softly, sitting down next to him.
Cameron nodded and set his head down again. “Yeah. ‘M alright.”
Lilah was silent for a moment before she bent to press a quick kiss to his forehead. "Let me know if you need anything."
Cameron nodded slowly and zoned out, staring at the bedboard post thingy with Lily in his arms.
Lilah sighed and gently patted his cheek. "We should talk, I think."
Cameron glanced up at her, holding the pup close. “Alright. What do you need to talk about?”
"I'm not the one who needs to talk, Cam," Lilah said gently with a patient smile.
Cameron blinked at her. “I don’t need to talk either, though.”
"You look like you do. You're just zoning out," Lilah pointed out softly.
Cameron lowered his gaze, feeling foolish and aloof. “It’s nothing.”
"I can tell that it's definitely not nothing," Lilah sighed. "But if you really don't want to talk, then I won't make you."
