Cameron awwed softly and set her down. “There. Safe and sound.”
Cameron awwed softly and set her down. “There. Safe and sound.”
(Hehe. I sang "Safe & Sound" by TS for choir about five years ago… Idek why I still remember that…)
Lilah smiled and reached up to peck his lips. "Thanks."
(xD Odd things to remember)
Cameron smiled and kissed her cheek in return. “You’re welcome.”
(Lol. Yeah. I still listen to it, too.)
"So, back to swimming then?" Lilah asked, looping her arm through Cameron's.
Cameron smiled. “Yes. Should we jump in together?”
"Sure! On three?" Lilah suggested, looking up at him with her own smile.
Cameron smiled down at her with a warm smile. “One…”
"…Two…" Lilah's grin grew as she looked back down at the lake.
“Three!” Cameron took a breath, held it and leapt into the lake.
Lilah laughed and jumped after him. She popped back above the water, looking around for Cameron.
Cameron emerged from behind her, grinning. “Boo!”
Lilah jumped and gasped, turning around to glare at him.
"Don't do that!" she exclaimed, swatting at his arm. "Do you want me to drown?"
Cameron snorted gently in laughter. “Sorry, sorry. No, I don’t want you to drown!”
"Good! Because it would be really terrible if you wanted your girlfriend to drown. Especially since she just so happens to be the crown princess of her kingdom," Lilah said, raising an eyebrow at him as she crossed her arms.
Cameron rolled his eyes and laid on his back in the water. “I apologize, dear. I won't think about frightening you ever again.”
"I appreciate it, thank you," Lilah chuckled, kissing his cheek.
Cameron grinned up at her, his hair drifting around his head as he floated on his back.
“You’re welcome.”
Lilah smiled back for a moment before suddenly booping his nose.
Cameron laughed. “Thanks.”
(I gtg. I have to finish this report. Ugh.)
"You're welcome," Lilah said, laughing with him.
(Oof. Bye!)
Cameron laid his head back upward again, grinning. “What now?”
(I hate reports…)
"We could just float and look at the clouds," Lilah suggested, moving to float on her back beside Cameron.
(Oof I get that feel)
Cameron took her hand, smiling. “Great idea.”
(Still not done with it… In my defense, though, I was at the YMCA.)
Lilah grinned up at the sky as she squeezed his hand. Using her free hand, she pointed at a cloud. "That one looks like a bunny."
Cameron looked over at it. “Looks like a cow. Moooo.”
"What? No, it's totally a bunny," Lilah argued.
“Mooo!” Cameron cutely hummed.
Lilah chuckled. "You're such a dork."
Cameron looked at her, grinning. “I’m your dork, though.”
"Yeah… You are," Lilah laughed. "And I like you, so I think you can stay."
