Lily barked, peering at her as she rested her head. She wiggled up and started to lick her face happily.

Lilah laughed and pulled away.

"Thanks for the kisses, Lily," she chuckled, ruffling the puppy's ears.

Lily barked as if laughing and wagged her little tail.
Cameron rolled his eyes. “Lily, her face was warming my shoulder. How dare you make her move?”

Lilah chuckled and kissed his cheek. "I apologize on behalf of Lily."

Cameron smiled warmly in return. “She’d better be sorry.”
Lily barked happily. She wasn’t.

"I'm sure she is," Lilah declared, smiling back at him. "Do you think we should turn around, now?"

Cameron looked around. “We didn’t walk very far, though!”

(I forgot to mention that I'm going to be at a party this weekend, so idk when I'll get wifi. We're at Caribou, so…)

"Well the I guess we can walk farther," Lilah said with a shrug.

(Awwwww have fun, be safe!)

Cameron paused. “If you wanna go back we can.”

(Thanks! We're at Caribou again. Lol.)

"No, it's fine! I'm good with walking more," Lilah assured him with a smile.

Cameron smiled back. “Just making sure. I don’t want to make you sleepy.”

"Oh, you won't! If anything, this is waking me up more!" Lilah said.

Cameron laughed gently, swinging her arm with his. “If you say so! It is helping stretch out my legs, though.”

(Lol. Campfire mocha is amazing.)

"Good. That's good for you," Lilah giggled, being in an oddly happy mood.

Cameron smiled at her. He seemed to share in her happy mood.
“Why are you so happy all of a sudden?”

(Third one this weekend! Lol.)

"Um… Maybe because I'm finally free of having to do something I'm not good at? I don't know," Lilah said with a shrug.

(Wow my guy you’re gonna pass out xD)

Cameron nudged her. “I was just curious. Don’t get all disgruntled.”

(Nah. I was at a movie until 12:30 this morning, so it'll keep me awake.)

"I wasn't! I was just thinking out loud," Lilah explained, looking over at him.

(Oh my god. Autumn.)

Cameron giggled. “Sure you were.”

(Hey, in my defense, it was for my friend's party. And I fell asleep. Lol.)

"I was!" Lilah argued with a smile, nudging him.

(You passed out.)

Cameron nudged her back. “Mhm. Sure.”

(No, I actually just nodded off a few times. I couldn't fall asleep because it was so loud.)

"Ugh. You're impossible," Lilah giggled, pushing at him playfully.

(Mmmm… you gotta be careful at parties.)

Cameron laughed with her. “Impossible is my middle name.” He nudged her with his hip.

(There was no drinking or drugs; we don't do that. It was literally just 5-7 teen girls, dancing and watching movies.)

Lilah blinked and tilted her head with a sudden thought. "What is your middle name?"

(Gotcha! Gotcha. By the way you made it sound it was like, a full blown party.)

Cameron’s grin faltered somewhat. “Tobias. It’s boring.”

(Lol. Nope… Well, it was for us. We're basically all homeschooled, so… Yeah.)

"Cameron Tobias Metzler…" Lilah mused under her breath. "It's cute. I like it."

Cameron shrugged a little. “It’s boring to me. It rolls off the tongue, though.”

"Why do you think it's boring?" Lilah asked. "I mean, mine's just Rose…"

Cameron sighed. “Rose is pretty and it has special meaning. Tobias is just… bleh.”

"But I like it," Lilah argued, walking in front of him to look him in the eyes.
