"It's a while away. Longer than the drive here, but not super long," Lilah said.
"It's a while away. Longer than the drive here, but not super long," Lilah said.
Cameron gave her a worried look. “Are you sure you want to go shopping?”
"'Course I'm sure! Honestly, it's not that far," Lilah assured him.
Cameron gave a slight nod and a grin. “Let’s go, then!”
"Yeah, let's," Lilah chuckled, making her way to the car.
Cameron walked with her, to the passenger’s side of the car and plopped into the front. He carefully set the cake down and buckled in.
Lilah jumped in and buckled up. "You ready?"
“Yep!” Cameron exclaimed, making sure the door was shut on his side and the cake was secured.
"To the store, then!" Lilah declared.
“To the store!” Cameron proclaimed knight-like.
(Skip?)
(Yis! To the lake?)
(Sure! You start?)
(but it’s your turn bro bro
But okay if you need me to)
(How do you want me to start? Any specific way?)
(Lol. Maybe just have them arrive?)
(Uh okay)
After the pair got dressed at the palace and got towels, the dogs and sunscreen, Lilah drove the pair to the lake. Cameron collected the towels, sunscreen and cake up in his arms, hopping out of the car. He looked over at Lilah.
“Could you get the dogs out?”
"'Course," Lilah said with a smile as she stepped out of the car. She helped the dogs out and made her way to Cameron.
Lily ran over to Cameron, barking at Lilah as she approached.
Cameron smiled and stepped forward somewhat. “Ready?”
"You bet!" Lilah said as Lilac ran around her feet.
Cameron lead the way down to the lake, setting their things down on a firm surface that wasn’t muddy. He turned to the dogs.
“I wonder if they’ll hop in with us.”
"I bet they will," Lilah said, tugging on her swimsuit cover. "Lilac loves the water."
Cameron tossed off his shirt with a movement and grinned at her over his shoulder. “I’m ready to jump in when you are!”
Lilah laughed and pulled the cover-up off.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" she said as she hurried over.
Cameron watched her with a look of playful exasperation. “Ready?”
"Last one in is a rotten egg!" Lilah laughed as she ran into the lake.
Cameron, instead of running into the lake, he hared around the circumference, then launched himself into the lake with a cannonball. He emerged a few feet away from where he jumped, flicking his hair out of his face.
"You lost!" Lilah laughed, swimming over to him.
Cameron huffed water out of his nose. “What do you mean!? I got in first!”
"No! I was already in when you jumped!" Lilah said.
