Lilah huffed and leaned back on the bed. She grabbed the remote to the tv and turned it on before pulling the DVD player screen up and starting the movie. With a sigh, she rested her head on his shoulder.
Cameron smiled when she set her head on his shoulder and he wrapped an arm around her. He craned his neck in an awkward angle so he could see the TV and started happily watching the movie with her.
"To be honest, I don't really understand the logic of this movie," Lilah muttered after they were halfway through.
Cameron took a moment to register what she said and burst out laughing. "You don't say that in the beginning of the movie, but the middle?"
"Yup," Lilah said simply, a smile playing on the edges of her lips.
Cameron lapsed into silent laughs that shook his body. "That's so ridiculous!"
"Hey, don't judge my thought process!" Lilah giggled, gently pushing him.
Cameron gave a soft snort. "The middle of the movie?"
"Caaaaammmm," Lilah groaned.
Cameron fell silent, though he was still laughing. "Okay, okay, I'll stop."
"Good," Lilah grumbled, curling up to continue watching the movie.
Cameron made a little whine in his throat but didn't move to hug her. He sighed and looked back at the TV, wondering what had gotten into her.
Lilah sighed and scooted closer to Cameron again. She snuggled into his side, laying her head back on his shoulder.
Cameron grinned a little, wrapping his arms around her. He didn't turn to face her but kept watching the movie.
Lilah continued to watch the movie with a scrutinizing gaze. Why had she picked this movie again?
No one really knows, answered the second writer. Cameron raised an eyebrow at the slightly bad acting.
What are they talking about?
"What if we pick a different movie?" Lilah suddenly asked without moving.
Cameron looked at her. "Are you as confused as I am?"
"Not confused as much as annoyed that I even still own this movie," Lilah declared.
Cameron blinked once or twice. "I don't get it, though."
"Get what?" Lilah asked, turning to face him.
"What's going on!" Cameron exclaimed exasperatedly.
"Okay… So we can change the movie," Lilah said with a shrug.
Cameron gave her a confused look. "I don't understand. What are they talking about?"
"I don't know…" Lilah admitted with another shrug.
Cameron laid back in the bed. "Okay, good. Cuz I had no idea what was going on."
"It's an incredibly dumb movie, and I honestly don't know why I picked it," Lilah muttered.
Cameron hugged her. "It's fine. Don't beat yourself up for it."
Lilah smiled at the hug.
"I'm not. I'm just debating whether or not I should burn this disk."
Cameron gently kissed her nose. "Burning it sounds like a good idea. Or you could sell it."
