Cameron smiled at her. He continued scarfing down the cake happily, humming as he did so.

"Okay, I'm done…" Lilah sighed, laying back into the ground.

Cameron got a second slice happily. “Congrats. Ima eat some more.”

"You do that," Lilah chuckled.

Cameron set the second slice of cake onto his plate neatly, then started devoring it hungrily.

Lilah laughed softly. "You dork."

Cameron looked up with a “Mm?” He grinned at her.

Lilah flicked his nose. "You look silly."

Cameron booped hers in response, grinning. He continued eating the cake like a starving child.

"Cam! Gosh dang it, don't make me tickle you," Lilah threatened.

“Mm I’mmcake!” Cameron mumbled indigantly over his full mouth.

"You're mean," Lilah said, glaring at him.

Cameron tossed his head to the left. “Eam sommo cake!”

"I meant about eating cake so I can't tickle you without fear of you choking," Lilah clarified, holding back a smile.

Cameron gave her a look and scooped more cake into his mouth rebelliously.

"Oh my word…" Lilah muttered under her breath with a sigh.

Cameron gave a little giggle before finally finishing his cake. “Good cake.”

"It was very good cake," Lilah agreed with a nod, smiling.

Cameron nodded smartly back. “The best I’ve had of its kind.”

"Mm… I have to disagree. Noah makes an amazing strawberry shortcake," Lilah stated.

Cameron raised an eyebrow. “I’m sure he does. I’ll have to try it.” He grinned.

"You totally will. And his apple pie…" Lilah trailed off dreamily. "Mm… Apple pie…"

Cameron tilted his head. “Apple pie… I love pie so much…”

"Okay, I'm asking for apple pie in the morning, then, for breakfast," Lilah declared with a grin.

Cameron looked at her with a beam. “Brilliant idea. Wonderful.”

"It's healthy, too, since it's a fruit!"

Cameron snorted. “That’s not how pie works, Lilah.”

"Shh… The pie doesn't know that…" Lilah whispered with a smile.

Cameron laughed quietly. “Right, right, of course it doesn’t…”

"The pie just wants to be a healthy food, but it can't. It doesn't know that, though, and we can't tell it!" Lilah declared with a grin.
