Cameron nodded furiously. “Of course! Of course! It’s only trying to fit in but it’s just too delicious!”
Cameron nodded furiously. “Of course! Of course! It’s only trying to fit in but it’s just too delicious!”
(I gtg in a few.)
"Exactly!" Lilah agreed with a sharp nod.
(Okay.)
Cameron nodded again. “It makes prefect sense!”
"See? I told you pie was healthy!" Lilah laughed.
Cameron laughed with her. “Pie is the most healthy thing ever!”
"Even more healthy than vegetables!" Lilah exclaimed.
Cameron threw his head back. “Hell, it’s healthier than water!”
"Totally. I can't believe how healthy it is!" Lilah declared, holding back a giggle.
Cameron shook his head wildly. “It is the single most healthy thing on this planet!”
"We could eat it all day and not get fat!"
“Absolutely!” Cameron excliamed fiercely.
"Okay, I think break time can be over, now," Lilah said with a smile.
Cameron grinned back and hopped up. “Let’s go, then!”
Lilah giggled and stuck her hand up for him to help her up.
Cameron grabbed her hand and picked her up in a bridal pose, the sudden chang odd.
“Alright, the lake.”
"Oh my gosh, Cameron!" Lilah gasped when he picked her up.
Cameron looked down at her, grinning. “What? You said my name?”
"Warn a girl before you pick her up like that!" Lilah laughed.
Cameron laughed. “I didn’t think you’d care!”
"Well, I don't mind it," Lilah admitted, smiling as she rolled her eyes at him. "But you surprised me!"
Cameron shifted his grip on her and started trotting to the lakeside. “I decided it’d just be quicker to pick you up!”
"And why is that? Are you calling me slow?" Lilah joked.
Cameron shook his head. “It’d be quicker to pick you up than help you up.”
"How does that work?" Lilah laughed.
Cameron shrugged, grinning. “It worked, didn’t it?”
"I mean, yeah, obviously," Lilah chuckled. "Were you planning on ever putting me down, though?"
Cameron beamed. “No, it didn’t cross my mind.”
"Of course it didn't," Lilah said, rolling her eyes as she grinned.
Cameron shifted his grip on her and peered down in the lake. “Should I just jump in?”
"Holding me? No, thanks. I'd prefer to be set down, now," Lilah shook her head as she spoke, glancing down at the water.
