Sure
(okay then)
Ash climbed off her motorcycle and took her helmet off, sighing. She glanced at her phone and sighed louder. More death threats, that's great. She thought tiredly, walking up to the academy door and sticking her phone in her pocket.
(is this okay
sorry it's a little vague)
"Hey," Lintar was leaning against a pole near the entrance, "Who is it this time?"
Ash glanced up, frowning. "Huh? What do you mean?"
"The idiots," they looked around, "Texting you. You can stop telling me they are confessions of love because I know they are not."
"Who says I don't also get confessions of love?" She grinned. "I'm open to anyone."
Lintar poked her playfully in the chest
"C'mon we're going to be late." She turned to enter the building.
Lintar followed her into the corridors
Ash turned down a couple hallways and she opened the door to a classroom labeled Air History 102. She sat down in the back and set her feet up, ignoring the whispers from the other students.
Lintar sat down a couple of seats back, meeting the whispering students with a glare
Ash doodled a bit on her finished homework and waited for class to start.
"The air force of Erosdus is form in the year 3024…"
Lintar glared. They learnt that ages ago. They could not understand why their uncle would send them here to Erosdus where, everything is, so well primitive. The stuff they teach here in high school is what elementary school students learn back home in Calmani
Ash didn't pay much attention to the lecture, already knowing everything the teacher way saying.
Lintar drew on their notebook, who even uses planes anymore?
Ash yawned and jumped a little when the bell rang. She stood up and waited back by Lintar's desk for him.
"What?" they asked
"Why do you think they teach us that stuff if we already know it?" She asked, walking out of the class.
"Because the natives don't?" they suggested
Ash huffed. “It’s stupid.” She walked to her next class, Mechanics training, and went to one of the desks.
"They're stupid."
Lintar moved to the next corridor to their next class
Ash breezed through the next two classes and went to the common area.
Lintar was sitting in a remote area looking at their hologram, making sure no one was near
Ash sat down and sighed, pulling out her laptop and getting some homework done.
"You seriously still use these?"
Ash nodded. “They still work fine, so why not?”
"I mean, we have these." they pointed to the minuscule silver ball producing the hologram on their wrist, "No one is going to see it anyway."
“I like these though.” She pouted, fingering her silver ball.
"The Lighthouse is coming." they whispered and pulled down their jacket sleeve to cover the hologram
