“But you just giggled.” Cameron tilted his head, a grin returning on his face.
“But you just giggled.” Cameron tilted his head, a grin returning on his face.
"Yeah… Because I thought it was funny," Lilah said.
Cameron gave her a slight, confused look. “Okay, what’s it called?”
Lilah blushed and looked down.
"Once Upon A Dream…" she mumbled.
Cameron smiled warmly. “I can play it, if you want.” He pulled out his phone.
"But… You didn't want music…" Lilah reminded him, looking back up.
Cameron shrugged. “If you want it, I can play some.” He grinned at her.
Lilah smiled back. "Please, yes. I'd love it."
Cameron pulled up his music application, then started playing the song. He leaned back onto her head and started rocking back and forth with the music, humming along with it.
Lilah rested her head against Cameron's chest again, humming along with him. This was perfect, simply perfect. She was glad she'd chosen him.
The song ran its course and it ended. Cameron opened his eyes, a fluttery giddiness in his chest.
“That was fun, huh?” He asked, tightening his grip on her.
"Mm-hm, it was," Lilah murmured in agreement. The song continued to run through her mind, and she smiled as she looked up. "What now?"
He grinned down at her, meeting her gaze. “I dunno, did you wanna do anything else? How long are you staying for?”
Lilah shrugged. "I was planning on staying until about nine o'clock tonight, if that was okay with you. I don't know what we would do if we were to do something else."
Cameron nodded with a bigger grin. “Sounds great! We could take Lily inside and I could show you around.”
"That sounds good," Lilah agreed, returning his smile. "I'd like to see the rest of your place."
Cameron nodded and grabbed her hand. “Let’s go find Lily, then.”
Lilah pulled away from Cameron and entwined her fingers with his. "Where do you think she ran off to?"
“She likes to go over there.” He pointed over to a mossy patch of rocks clumped together with his free hand. “She climbs around on them, and if she falls, she lands on the moss.”
"That sounds like it would be cute to watch," Lilah said with a slight laugh.
Cameron laughed too. “It really is. I watch her in case she falls and hurts herself anyway…” He walked with Lilah to the boulders, where they heard Lily borking playfully.
(Steak, man…)
"She certainly doings happy," Lilah declared, smiling as they got closer.
(Dude steak is so good)
Cameron laughed. “Isn’t she? Lilyyyyy!”
(Right? That's what I've got for lunch. It's left over from my sister's birthday party. Lol.)
Lilah laughed as they waited for the puppy to come over. "Doesn't seem as if she wants to stop."
Lily clambered over a stone, then started barking at Cameron, wagging her tail, as if trying to indimidate him.
Cameron laughed. “Come here, you silly girl.” He walked over and scooped her up in an arm.
(I keep running into things… Why am I like this?)
"Aw, Lily. You're so silly!" Lilah exclaimed as she reached over to pet the dog.
(Samme i almost bowled someone over today in the hallways ugh)
Lily borked happily, her whole body wiggling as she moved forward to lick Lilah’s fingers.
Cameron laughed and adjusted his grip on the wriggling pup. “Anyway, we can go inside, now.” He grinned brightly at Lilah.
(Lol. I stubbed my toe and yelled ow really loudly for no reason. Then said that I was okay. I'm weird even to myself…)
"Yeah, let's do that," Lilah agreed, a hint of laughter in her voice from the puppy's antics.
(Well whats wrong with telling the truth? Stubbing your toe huuurts)
Cameron grinned down at the piece of floof and started walking back to the palace. “I was thinking we could go out to eat, once the heat simmered down, but until then, we could go to the kitchens and get something.”
(No, like, I was fine, but I just said ow really loudly for some reason…)
"Going out to eat sounds fun. Where were you thinking?" Lilah asked.
