Ty didn't say anything, he didn't want to get Serra's Hope's up just to have them crushed. Sting silent was the best choice. "Alright, that's move on to the next monkey." He kept Serra on his shoulders and held Kate's hand. No matter how hard he tried not to think about it, Ty wanted this to be his family.
It was a fairly crowded zoo. Not enough people to provoke any feeling of claustrophobia, not that Kate had any. She held onto his hand. She looked up to Serra on his shoulders as they walked. He's such a good brother. She looked back in front of her. They walked up to more monkeys behind glass, these ones bigger. Some were grooming each other, some eating, some playing around.
"I want to see the big cats." A sigh came from Serra, she was obviously bored with the monkey's. "Kate's never been to the zoo before so we are going to look at everything. Don't worry, We'll make it to the wild cats." He couldn't spoil her to much or she will turn into a brat.
"I mean, I'm really up for anything. So, if Serra wants to, we can." She looked to Ty. She didn't want to make it her day when it wasn't.
"Kate's my favorite right now." Ty looked up at his sister and grabbed her cheeks. "You're lucky Kate is such a nice person. Sorry, I'll bring you here just the two of us and we can look at everything." He let go of Serra's cheeks and grabbed her hands. "Okay, let's go."
Kate laughed. "It's fine. I'm thankful that I get to see any of this." She walked alongside them. She looked up at the sky. It was still the same as it was earlier, except now, the clouds were moving faster. She bumped into something. "Hey, watch where you're going!" She looked down to see who she had run into. It was a guy, somewhere near her age, probably older. He didn't look hurt. Just annoyed. "I- umm. Sorry."
"Calm down, she didn't hurt you." Ty pulled her closer and glared at the guy as he took the girls and walked away. "Are you okay?" Ty was very protective over the people he loves and he didn't want anything to happen to them.
"I -uh- yeah. I mean it was my fault and all. I was too busy looking at the sky instead of where I was going." Idiot. They continued walking down the path.
"He also could've moved out of the way, so he wasn't paying attention." Ty took a deep breath and and turned towards Kate. "Sorry, I just don't want anything to happen to you."
"I- she thought back for a moment. "I don't want anything else to happen to you." Sam had said the same thing years ago after she had told her about yet childhood. Well, half of it. It was different now. Now, she felt the protection radiating from Ty, something's she's never had before. She flew back to the present and saw the love in his eyes. "I really do love you."
"Oh, um," Her saying that all of a sudden surprised him and for a second that was all he could say, till Serra kicked his shoulder. A soft smile crossed his face. "I love you too." He kissed her, then led the way to the Wild cats with his hand in hers.

"To be honest, no" vash laughed at Blues excitement. "I don't really count the forced to dance with some ten year old at school as real dancing"
Blue smiled smugly and did a little bow, “Well I shan’t let you down, milady.” A band was playing on a makeshift stage, a crowd standing around and swaying with the music, “So could I have this dance, love?”
Vash laughed slightly, and putting on her fanciest voice responded, "why of course my dear" she laughed at herself some more.
"Oh, um," Her saying that all of a sudden surprised him and for a second that was all he could say, till Serra kicked his shoulder. A soft smile crossed his face. "I love you too." He kissed her, then led the way to the Wild cats with his hand in hers.
She smiled as she walked. They finally made their way to the cats. "Whoa." The first cats they saw were asleep, but Kate was still immensly intrigued. "Whoa." She was becoming convinced that that would soon become the only word in her vocabulary.
"Amazing right?" Ty watched as the lion slept. Sure it wasn't the most satisfying thing, but it was still cool. "I hear you can pet a baby tiger. If you guys want to do that?" He knew he did, it would be an experience.
Blue took her hands in his, tugging her closer to the stage while beginning to sway and dance with the music. When he looked into Vash’s beautiful eyes, gosh darn Blue melted and the world fell away. It was her, it was him, it was them. Dancing together with the music. It was perfect.
"Sorry" Vash said just barely missing Blues foot, "if your feet survive this we should go get ice cream." keep it together knee, she thought. It'd hadn't acted up since she moved here. But now its like it came back worse the before.
“Your fine. And I’ll buy,” Blue replied with a smile and spun her around. The music seemed to compliment them so well, an even when Blue didn’t get the moves just right, Blue and Vash we’re making their own dance. Dances their own melody. He spun her again playfully.
Returning from the spin Vash pecked Blue on the cheek, "deals a deal. You paid for the first, and I'd pay for the next." This time she did step on his foot, "sorry!" She said jumping back a little. "Maybe your feet won't survive aafter all." she joked.
"Amazing right?" Ty watched as the lion slept. Sure it wasn't the most satisfying thing, but it was still cool. "I hear you can pet a baby tiger. If you guys want to do that?" He knew he did, it would be an experience.
She turned to Ty, eyes lit up with excitement. "Really?" Having never been to anywhere like this, she had no idea things like this were possible. "That'd be so cool!"
"Alright, baby tiger it is." They walked through the rest of the big cats and ended up an enclosed area where a man was letting three people at a time come pet a tiger cub.
Eventually, it became their turn. Kate walked up hesitantly. "Don't be scared!" The man motioned her over. The cub was a small ball or orange, black and white fur. It's so cute! The cub was currently in the man's lap as he held it still.
"Just stay behind him and don't pet his head." Ty took Serra off his shoulder to let her go first. Slowly she walked up to him and pet his back. "He's so soft." Ty took a picture. "Okay Kate your turn."
Kate walked up slowly, admiring it while thinking about everything that could go wrong. No, it's just a cub. Calm down. She approached it and pet it slowly, stroking down it back. It's fur felt like normal cat fur, but. Tiger fur. There was really no other way to explain it. (Mostly cause I've only been to the zoo so many times and never pet a tiger lol) "He really is." She stepped back so Ty could stroke him.
Kate was fast so Ty didn't have enough time to get a picture. Ty bent down and pet the tiger, he had to agree with Serra it was pretty soft. "So cute." He couldn't help the smile on his face. Taking in every stripe and the color, Ty made sure to memorize it so he could get the pattern and color. "Alright, leys go so the people behind us can pet it."
(I'm going to brag a it sorry, but I've pet a Tiger cub and it was amazing!)

Kate followed Ty out of the area, soft smile on her face. First going to the zoo, then petting a cub. It was probably the most adventurous day she's had in a while. "That was really cool."
"I'm glad you are having a good day." Serra raised her arms up wanted to be picked up again. "Can I take a break?" She frowned and turned away. "Let's go look at the fish then." The aquarium here was huge and beautiful, it was like you were actually in the ocean. "You want to go look at some fish?" He looked to Kate a smile on his face. Her face was glowing with excitement and he loved it.
"Yeah sure!" His smile made her smile even more. They started to the aquarium. The crowds earlier had made it seem less cold as they stopped the wind from hitting her. Now, the crowds had strangely died down. For anyone else, it would have felt fine, amazing probably, but Kate was a lot more in tune with cold. Not that it showed, she wasn't shivering or anything. She could just feel the wind hit her cheeks turning them a slight blush color. The aquarium was a little walk away, so it would take them about five or ten minutes to get there.
