Ty was waiting on the the steps of the school for Kate. They said since he was doing better today that they would let him go, but if something like that happens again that he would have to go back in. Ty couldn't wait to see the excitement on Kate's face when she sees him. Hopefully Xavier is driving her here, because if her is making her walk Ty will most likely punch him.

Kate had walked alone. Xavier had planned to walk with her, but he had got caught up at the house and had her leave without him. The wind was blowing hard bringing small goosebumps to her arms. She saw Ty on the steps and ran up and into his arms wrapping hers around him. "Ty, they let you come?"
Blue didn’t answer directly so wouldn’t lie to her face, “I think they still need to check me out… I can see why, they were busy with Ty,” He mumbled, chewing on his lip.
"Yeah, I just have to be careful." Ty stood up bringing Kate with him. "But I can't do gym or anything like that." He laughed holding her hand and walking into school. Many people heard about what happened yesterday at school and were asking if he was okay, Ty would just answer with 'I'm fine' He didn't want to explain the whole situation. "Come on let's go to class." He began to walk to class.
Blue didn’t answer directly so wouldn’t lie to her face, “I think they still need to check me out… I can see why, they were busy with Ty,” He mumbled, chewing on his lip.
Vash looked around and indeed did notice it seemed they hadn't tended to Blue yet, I'll go ask about it. she stood and left the room to find a nurse, "um, I uh-" she stumbled on her words slightly, "my friend has a broken arm…and no ones checked on him yet." Her voice can out a bit shakey as she spoke the nurse nodded her head and scurried off to tell someone else. Vash returned to Blues room and sat again, don't worry someone should be coming now.
Kate held tight to his hand, not letting him move too far away from her. (Sorry it's so short I'm at school)
I have to tell her the news. She's going to be so sad, and I don't want that. "Kate, later I have to tell you something, I'll tell you after school." Ty sat in a seat by the window, which usually is Xavier's spot but he didn't care, he just wanted to look out the window.
"Oh, okay." There was something in his voice as he sat down in Xavier's place. She hesitantly walked away to her desk, scared to leave him for too long.
“Thank you,” He made a small smile to her, then let out a tiny sigh, “Will I have to learn sigh language now?” He thought of how much his life would change. Sign language. A foster home. A broken arm, bruises everywhere… He tried to just focus on his breathing so it wouldn’t overwhelm him.
Vash thought for a second, maybe. That'd be cool though, right? she honestly couldn't imagine a world with out sound, I wonder what'd it be like…
“I dunno…” Blue sighed, staring at his hands, “I don’t know how I’ll memorize it all. I don’t know how I’ll do anything anymore…” He started wringing his hands, “What’s a foster home like?”
Vash froze up, "a-a foster home…" She remembered that Joe had came looking for her last night, "its…awful." She knew he couldn't hear her and maybe that's why she kept talking, so he wouldn't know the truth, "some find really good homes and never have to worry about anything…but others, like me, they don't get so lucky." its great! You get to move around a lot meet new people, make friends. a lie.
“But what about us?” Blue asked, trying desperately to hope, despite all the odds. He glued his eyes to the floor. I won’t cry about this- Ty had it so much worse and he didn’t shed a single tear.
Vash thought for a moment, "I can try and convince Joe…" It'd be awful after all that happened after that night, but she could at least try. Vash pulled her phone from her pocket and texted him simply asking if he could request to foster Blue. I don't know. she wrote. we'll find a way.
Blue grabbed her hand just holding it for a few moments. A doctor came in with a worried and flustered look, “I’m so so sorry, I had completely forgot I was needed here, there was a pregnant woman upstairs that was having some trouble, and I hadn’t known about- Oh gosh, I’m so sorry,” The man said a he pulled up a seat. He glanced at Vash, “Are you two siblings?”
"Uh- no I'm his girlfriend" Vash shy looked at the ground, "so um…his hearing? Can you…can you fix it?" She looked up at the doctor hoping there was something, anything, that he could do.
“Um…” The doctor hesitated, watched Blue with wary eyes, “It will be long term. I’m sorry,” He sighed, then examined Blue’s arm, “Let’s get you to the X-ray machine to see what we’re dealing with.”
Blue stumbled upwards, just following the doctor in ignorance.
"Oh, okay." There was something in his voice as he sat down in Xavier's place. She hesitantly walked away to her desk, scared to leave him for too long.
What's the best way to tell her? Ty thought about that the whole class as he spun the object in his pocket. Please end. He just really wanted to get it over with.* This is the first time he wanted school to end, usually he didn't care. (I'm so sorry, I've been busy.)

Kate found herself glancing to Ty to make sure he was okay. Finally, the bell rang, releasing her from her seat. She gathered her stuff and walked to him. He seemed to be focused on something. "Hey."
Vash felt the words hit her almost as if they where a knife, long term. that's all it took to send her into a rage that she's sure she'd never cool from. his father did this. His- stupid. she put her head in her hands. She didn't want this life for Blue. She didn't want it for anyone. In Vash's eyes he deserved happiness. No one deserved being deaf because of a father, no one.
Ty jumped at her voice, he didn't hear the bell go off. Immediately he took his hand out of his pocket. "You ready for our next class?" It was art, so it was something he was good at, and enjoyed. Standing he grabbed his stuff and took her hand.
"I- " She was startled by him being startled. She laughed at herself squeezing his hand. "You're so frickin' adorable."
Ty led her out of the classroom. He had a plan, and Xavier was waiting in the parking lot for him. He was headed to the art room before turning and was heading out the door. It was starting to sprinkle, Ty wasn't expecting it to rain, but that might make things better. "Alright hop in." Tyl opened the back door for Kate to get in.
Kate stopped, feeling something off. "Umm. Everything okay?". (Sorry it's so short)
"Definitely." He went and got on the other side and buckled up. "Alright here we go." Xavier Drove off towards the small town with the lake they went to a while ago. Ty grabbed Kate's hand, a little nervous. He just didn't want to do this at school.
"Where are we going?" She was really worried. Leaving school? This doesn't feel good. She felt his hands shaking a little from his nervousness. "Are you sure you're okay?" She looked to him.
"Don't worry." Ty took a deep breath as the rain got harder. It took and hour for them to arrive and Xavier parked. "Come on." Ty opened the door and took her hand. There was a very pretty covered area near the lake and Ty prayed no one was there right now.
She got out, her hand in his. Seeing the rain, she quickly ran into it, pulling him with her. She let go of his hand and spun around. She looked back to him and laughed. "Slipping school for rain?" She closed her eyes and felt the droplets soak her. "I mean, not that I'm complaining, I love rain."
He smiled and walked over to her. "I've always wanted to do this." Pulling her close and kissed her in the rain. It was like all those movies he's watched. "Alright let's get to some cover." Ty looked at the while cover that sat by the lake, it had flowers all around it and some growing up the side. "Here, sit down."
She kissed him back and laughed when he pulled away. She was completely soaked by now. She followed him and sat down as she was told. Droplets dripped from her hair to the floor.
