Kate shook her head and looked down at their hands. His hands were soft and warm. "No, it's okay. I should've thought before." She looked behind him and saw Serra. She nodded to her. "Is she asleep?"
Kate shook her head and looked down at their hands. His hands were soft and warm. "No, it's okay. I should've thought before." She looked behind him and saw Serra. She nodded to her. "Is she asleep?"
"Yeah, guess she tired herself out." He led her to the blanket and sat down. "But seriously, I'm sorry. If I ever go to far or if you don't like it just tell me okay." He looked away embarrassed that he couldn't control himself better, especially in front of Serra.
Kate sat down next to him. "Hey." She turned his face back towards her. "It's okay." She smiled warmly at him and then looked to the lake. The sun was being reflected off the water, making some of the blue bright white. She put her hands behind her and leaned back onto them.
Ty laid down and put his head on Kate's lap. "You can tell me if you don't like this." His eyes watch the water as it moved gently and made beautiful music. Not many people were out so it was nice and quiet.
"Let’s walk through town? I heard they were setting up for a festival or something, and there might be music,” Blue said with a small smile, “It can be a date or something.”
"Sounds fun" A date. It was a date the thought of it still made Vash's heart flutter. Probably not normal anymore. But that didn't stop her heart from doing so.
Blue tried to contain his excitement, but couldn’t stop the smile on his face from growing as they walked deeper into town. He could hear music in the distance, probably a few blocks away. Blue looked at Vash, “If we go listen to the music do you want to dance with me?”
Kate smiled down at him as he watched the water. She shifted all her weight to one arm and ran the other through his hair. "And you can tell me if you don't like this," she said quietly.
"I love this." He tucked her hair behind her ear. He wanted to kiss her but held back this time. "Kate, what's you favorite color?" He realized that he didn't know much about her, and now would be a good time to find out.
She smiled and laughed a little. "I don't really know. I think it's purple." She laughed again. She wasn't sure how she didn't know her own favorite color. "What about yours?"
Blue tried to contain his excitement, but couldn’t stop the smile on his face from growing as they walked deeper into town. He could hear music in the distance, probably a few blocks away. Blue looked at Vash, “If we go listen to the music do you want to dance with me?”
heck freaking yes!, "yeah!" Vash said a smile on her face. "Its not like I can really dance though." She laughed at herself, "as the saying goes, I've got two left feet."
"I actually like yellow." Which most people thought was weird for a guy, but he didn't care. "What about food. I can't cook very well, but I could definitely try for you." His eyes moved from the lake to Kate's. "I could try."
"Hmm. That's a good question. I really love any kind of pasta." She laughed. "When my dad actually f- I mean, when my dad cooked, that's the only thing he cooked." She laughed. Watch your tongue.
"Hm." He knew something was wrong. Kate was easy to read. "I can make pastas, that's something I can make." He took her hand and held it. "Next time we go look at the stars I'll make us some pasta." He smiled.
Kate smiled. "Okay." She looked back out at the water. Water really amazed her sometimes. How it's literally everywhere. It can bond or break. It can be cold or hot. It just. Amazed her.
"Alright." Ty took off his shirt and headed towards the water and jumped in again. "Come here. You can bring my hoodie to sit on." He wanted Kate to come near the lake and hang out with him.
Kate rolled her eyes. "Fine." She laughed and stood up, taking his jacket to the edge. She laid it out and sat down on it. She laughed again, shaking her head. "You're such a weirdo."
heck freaking yes!, "yeah!" Vash said a smile on her face. "Its not like I can really dance though." She laughed at herself, "as the saying goes, I've got two left feet."
“If you got two left feet, then I got two right feet,” Blue laughed, “We can balance each other out.” He took Vash’s hand in his, a slightly faster and more eager pace to get to the music. A light breeze came in, blowing a few flower petals out of a nearby tree. Gosh Vash was so aesthetic being there, flowers behind her and the sun making her eyes sparkle.
"A weirdo that you love." He kissed her and sat at the edge of the lake with her. He made sure to keep a close eye on Serra though, who knows what weirdos live around here. "I'm going to start looking for a job, then a place to move to and if you're okay with it, I want you to move in with me." He knew that sounded bad. Gosh, she's going to think so bad of me now. "Of course we'll have separate rooms and I'll have a room for Serra so when she comes to visit or permanently stay." If it works out that way he would be extremely happy.
Kate looked at him and smiled. "If you'd like me to." She knew what he meant. She looked to the water. "I hope that Serra is able to stay. She seems really happy when she's with you."
"Yeah, I have a lot of researching to do. Honestly it might have to be after I graduate to take her in, but I'm hoping I can." Ty kissed the back of Kate's hand. "I'm glad you agreed to move in with me. To the best of my ability I will try and take care of you and make sure you'll never have to live on the streets or worry about food." He laughed and looked up into her eyes. He thought it sounded like he was proposing to her, bit he wouldn't do that till he was positive he could care for her properly.
Kate laughed with him, warmth spreading up her hand from where he kissed her. "How are you not cold?" She was honestly surprised how he could easily adapt to the lake water.
"I've always been good to adapting to the weather." It was strange even to him. "Weird right?" He shook his head to get it to dry faster. Taking the towel he brought over he wrapped it around himself.
The water from his hair flew everywhere. "Heeeyyyyy!!!" She put on a childish angry face and crossed her arms, looking away from him.
"Awe, I'm sorry." He said in a voice you would talk to a young child in and kissed her cheek. "Better?" He made her face him. He really did want to kiss her and Serra was asleep so maybe now wouldn't be a bad time.
Kate tried her hardest not to smile as her pout continued. She blew a puff of air through her nose and turned back. "No."
Ty moved to the other side of her so she was looking at him. Pulling her closer Ty kissed just as passionately as he did earlier for a few moments before pulling back. "Better now?" He bite his lip and looked into her eyes, his hand ran through her hair.
Kate tried to keep her pout, but it was quickly demolished when he pulled her in. She laughed, "Cheater!" Even then she found herself pulling in again. She kissed him for a few moments before she was the one to pull back. "You're too much sometimes," she said with a laugh.
How so?" He laughed as well. The sunlight on the lake hit her perfectly and made her shine. He kissed her again and laid her down on the ground. "Tell me if you want me to stop."
"What I mean is, I love you." She smiled into the kiss as he laid her down. She felt he blades of cold blades of grass on her skin. She kissed him again, everything fading away. Again. But it was a rich feeling, colors spanning across her vision, forgetting what the world is actually like. All that mattered was the moment she was in.
Ty kissed her back. One hand ran down her body and stopped at her hip and the other one on her cheek. "You're so beautiful." Ty kissed her jawline and moved down to her collar bone. "Tell me when you want me to stop." Of course he won't go to far, he just didn't know what she was comfortable with.
