(Was it just me or did Notebook shut down for a little?)
Kate felt his forehead against her skin. It felt like a flame was brewing. "We need to get you back home." She was sure he had a fever. There was no doubt. She held his hand tightly and walked him back to the front to the nurses office.

@Dirt

As soon as Vash called the cops she rushed over, forgetting everything but one, Blue. She stood on the curb and watched the police. please be okay. she fished the pen from her pocket again, 'Blue?'

(Yeah I think so, I haven’t been able to get on for the past few hours)
The man had lifted his to his feet. Blue couldn’t walk anymore, no, he was just dragged by two men, a second cop, outside. They looked concerned, they looked like they were asking him questions. But Blue felt like there was a window between him and the world. He still couldn’t hear. He couldn’t dredge up any emotions, not after that. Blue just felt empty.

@Dirt

Vash's hand shot up to her mouth before she ran over to him, "Blue! Oh my gosh Blue." Her face betrayed her horror showing pain and fear, "I-is he- is he okay?" Her voice shook and tears spilled over the rims of her eyes.

A woman, Dr. Ford, who helped with child care issues that approached like this. She hadn’t had many in the past few months, but this one was so severe… The boy was in high school, yet he looked so gone. Some children never came back from these things, and if this had been happening for a long time… Dr. Ford put her hand between Blue and Vash as she examined the former. She wasn’t sure if the boy wanted to be touched, even if this girl was his friend, she didn’t want to take chances. There were so many bruises… Gosh, Dr. Ford had never seen anything like it before. She spoke calmly and softely to the boy, “Hun? Are you alright? We got you out, you’re safe now. It’s okay,” The boy recognized she was talking to him, Dr. Ford saw how his eyes met hers, but… no response.

@Dirt

"Blue. Please." Vash's voice was a plead as she looked to the woman, "is…will he be alright?" I was to late I should have done something. I could have. she could have cried and pleaded all she wanted but that wouldn't change a thing. "He'll…be okay right?" But that couldn't stop a flood of questions. Even if those questions where all the same.

Dr. Ford looked to the girl, putting a hand on her shoulder, and said quietly, “I can’t answer that just yet. Do you know how long all… that had been going on?” Dr. Ford questioned, and finally her coworker, Vincent Dettorre, arrived in his car and rushed out, some papers flying about in his hands as he slowed to a stop beside the kid, asking quietly, “Hey, buddy, can I have a look at your arm and face?” Vincent was always good with the victims, whenever he used that gentle and caring voice. Blue didn’t react, but didn’t jerk away nor wince when Dr. Ford’s coworker had slowly reached out to touch the boy’s arm. That was invitation enough for Vincent, who went right on to examining the victim. Now Dr. Ford could put her full attention on the girl.

@Dirt

"I…I'd only known for less then a week but…I think most of his life." Vash couldn't look away from Blue, "I should have done something." She mumbled "I could have done something. Please…please help him. If there's anything…please." Her gaze returned to the lady.

Dr. Ford slowly led the girl away from the victim so they could talk and she wouldn’t have to be worried about filtering it for the boy, “We’re going to get him into therapy, and most likely foster care in the far future. We can only do so much, but he’s in good hands with Vincent and-“
“Vash,” A quivering, raw voice spoke out. Dr. Ford whipped around to look. The boy’s eyes had followed the girl. Vincent’s side eyes studied the kid, going back and forth between Dr. Ford, the girl, and the boy.

@Dirt

Vash wipped around and praticly fell over herself stumbling back to Him, "Blue. Oh my gosh. Blue." New tears spilled over her eyes as she took his hand in hers. "I'm here. What's- are you okay?" She knew they'd most likely drag her away from him but she didn't care She had to be near him. She needed it more then air. More then life its self at the moment.

Her mouth moved but the voice disappeared before Blue’s ears. “Vash, I can’t hear you,” Blue said, an edge of panic leaking into his voice. He stared at their hands together, focusing on that little part. She’s still here. “Vash, I can’t hear you,” He repeated, his pulse quickening. The two people were swarming him, the man was looking at his ears while the woman kept on trying to catch his eye. He kept staring at his and Vash’s hands.

@Dirt

"I-" Vash felt a sob escape her lips again. "Do you have a pen?" She turned to the lady having probably dropped her own pen in the park "or something to write with? Anything." Panic sized her chest and it grew harder to breath.

(Sorry, I'm here.)
"Are you sure, I think I can make it to class." Ty let Kate led him to wherever they were going, he wasn't paying attention much. "This is weird, I don't get sick often." He walked a bit farther before leaning up against the wall and sliding down. "I'm so tired."

Kate could feel something was wrong. She crouched down next to him and felt his forehead again. She was sure she had burnt her hand. "Stay here." She got up and quickly made her way to the nurse's office. She explained what had happened, partially stumbling over her words. The nurse followed her to Ty. She crouched next to him. "Ty, the nurse is here. Can you walk?"

Blue watched Dr. Ford furrow her brow then ruffle through her purse to pull of a pen. She said something, he thought, but he couldn’t tell what. His hands started to shake, “Vash, Vash, I’m scared. I can’t hear anything. Vash,” He pleaded quietly. Why why why why- I can’t hear her voice, I can’t hear her, I can’t- Blue jumped when the man stuck a otoscope in his ear.

@Dirt

Vash wrote on her arm, 'its okay. Everything's gonna be okay.' Hearing the panic in blue's voice only made her heart hurt more. I could have done something. I should have done something.

“Vash,” The boy let out a small noice as tears started to prick his eyes. Vincent moved to check Blue’s other ear, then look up at the girl and Dr. Ford with a sad expression.
“Both of his ear drums are collapsed from external force. He won’t-“ Her coworker glanced at the poor kid, “He won’t be able to hear again.” Dr. Ford subconsciously frowned. Out of all the victims she had rescued, this one was probably the worst.

@Dirt

(Literally screaming over here.)

Vash's hand went to her mouth, "no that's- that's impossible. Please there has to be something you can do…please." Her voice got quieter and quieter as she spoke. Her eyes filled with rage as she looked around, this was his fathers fault he did this to him. her mind raced with what if's and how it could have turned out if she'd done something sooner.

“I- I’m sorry,” Vincent said with an apologetic expression, “He May have a few broken bones as well, he’ll need x-rays…” Vincent glanced at the boy’s arm.
Dr. Ford put her hand on the girl’s shoulder, “I’m sorry. But we’ll go take him in, get most of him patched up,” Dr. Ford looked to Vincent, “Do you want to help him to the car?”

Blue could only watch in fear as they talked to each other. He didn’t know what they were saying, what was going on. His grip tightened on Vash’s hands. He didn’t want her to go. He didn’t want to be alone, “Vash,” He whispered with fearful eyes.

@Dirt

"Help him…? Can I stay with him?" Vash felt his grip tighten on her hand and looked back to him more tears escaping her eyes. "Please?" She didn't know what to, but she knew one thing. Leaving him would shatter her.

Deleted user

“I don’t know if that would be a good idea…” Dr. Ford trailed off. Victims were never really predictable, sometimes they couldn’t handle being in a room full of strangers, other times they were too scared to be with another human being. But the boy held on tightly to the girls hand, and Vincent must have picked up on it because he said, “I think it’d be alright it you came.”

Blue started shaking again. What are they saying, what’s going on, is Vash okay? He reached a shaky hand up to wipe a tear off her face, and lied for her sake, “I’ll be okay, Vash.”

@Dirt

Vash let her gaze set back on Blue, "yes, you will be okay." She said her voice shaking. She knew he couldn't her but hopped he could feel the weight of her words. "Everything's going to be okay."

Dr. Ford and Vincent brought Blue and Vash to the car. Blue just got a glimpse of his father being forced into a police car. His father- Blue paled and clutched his head, whispering rapidly, “Please don’t hurt me.”

@Dirt

"No ones gonna hurt you." Vash said helping Blue. She had the urge to run over to his dad and bash his face in. But she couldn't. Not if it ment she'd be pulled away from Blue. 'you'll be fine' she wrote.

Blue stared at his arm, stared at the words. They were comforting, in a way. He slid into his seat, trying to steady his breathing. Everything hurt. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying desperately to keep calm. He reached out, trying to find Vash’s hand.

@Dirt

(Ack sorry the site crashed for me again.)

Vash took his hand in hers again. Don't cry. Not anymore. She silently chastised herself for being so upset. what's done is done… "you're gonna be okay." She said again to Blue. She felt as if she said it enough it'd become true.

(I'm so sorry! I was kind of on somewhat date all day. But I'm here now.)
"Y-Yeah, I think so?" Ty didn't sound sure of himself at all as he pushed against the wall to stand. His whole side just leaned against the wall for support. "Where are we going?" His eyes became blurry as his body fell to the ground again, but this time he wasn't awake.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(OoooooOoOOOOOOooooo XD you're good)
"Ty!" She got down on her hands and knees next to him. The nurse had done the same except she had pulled out her phone and called an ambulance. "Hello, yes I…" Kate tuned out the nurses voice and took his hand. It was limp in hers. No no no! "Please, Ty, wake up!" She heard sirens approach and light flash in the windows. A crew rushed in quickly checked over him before loading him on a stretcher. Kate could feel her throat closing up as they moved in leaving no space for her to hold his hand. She could feel her eyes welling up with tears as she called his name while the nurse held her back. "They won't let you ride with him, dear." But she couldn't hear. She just needed to be near him, to make sure he was okay.
