In the distance there was faint voices but Ty couldn't make them out. Slowly his eyes opened and he saw a white roof and heard beeping. What the? He turned his head and looked around the room, no one was in there. "Am I in the hospital?" Finally he could make out what the voices were saying. "We're not sure what caused this to happen, but we are going to do a few tests." The nurse said, as the small sobs of his grandma was heard. "Grandma?" Is Kate out there as well?
The principal had Kate taken to his office. She was sobbing, everything blurring into one huge glob. "I just need to see him!" Reluctantly, the principal agreed to let her go. "Do you have some way to get to the hospital?" The tears streamed down her face. "No." She couldn't help but feel so helpless. She couldn't help. She couldn't drive. She couldn't get to him. Somewhere in her heart, she felt the urge to. "No." She repeated another sob escaping her lips. SHe couldn't look at the principal. What if I called Xavier? She practically begged the principal, but he soon allowed her to call Xavier down to the office. Please just hold on, Ty.
Xavier's phone buzzed and he answered it. Thank goodness he hadn't gone to class yet. "Hello?" At first all he were sobs. After a while though he began to understand what Kate was saying and rushed to the principal's office. "Kate?" He slammed the door open. "Let's go!"
Kate stumbled behind Xavier, trying to keep up. They made it to (I'm assuming he took his car today) his car. She got in and buckled herself, her heart racing and tears still falling. They had gotten quieter as her energy levels went down. Her head and lungs ached. Ty, please.
"Kate, he's strong. Nothing will happen, I won't let it." Xavier drove as fast as he could without getting pulled over, thank goodness this town was small and everything was pretty close by. It took about 15 minutes for them to get to the hospital. "Come on let's go!" Xavier did a horrible job at parking but right now he didn't care. He made sure not to run off and leave Kate behind. As soon as they entered the door Rose was sitting right there.
(Ack sorry the site crashed for me again.)
Vash took his hand in hers again. Don't cry. Not anymore. She silently chastised herself for being so upset. what's done is done… "you're gonna be okay." She said again to Blue. She felt as if she said it enough it'd become true.
As the car started up, Blue gripped Vash’s hand tightly and leaned against her warmth. He didn’t want to open his eyes, he didn’t want to face the world yet again. Blue’s shoulders shook a little bit, but his tears were all gone by now. He finally whispered, “Vash, I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I hurt you,” Blue had only assumed that when his father hit him, it also had hurt Vash. Gosh, looking back he wished he would’ve fought a little more, for Vash’s sake, but he had been so afraid and broken…
Kate collapsed in front her, one her hands fell to Rose's knee. "What's going on? Is Ty okay?" She held her tongue realizing that she had been crying as well. Kate could feel herself shaking as she cried. Everything hurt as she felt like her heart was going to explode. It was this moment she knew she wouldn't be able to live a single day without Ty by her side.
Vash hugged Blue slightly wanting to be careful of any bruises he had, "shh, no its okay." It took her a second to remember he couldn't hear her, so instead she wrote it on her arm. gosh darn it, her mind went to dark places, thoughts she freely welcomed at the moment. if I ever see his dad again… she stopped short of her thoughts and looked at Blue, I'm so so sorry.
Blue let out a small whimper, moving so he could bury his face into Vash’s shoulder and just hide. Dr. Ford glanced back at them, but looked away after a second. Blue sniffled a little bit, grateful for Vash’s presence. The car began to slow as the pull up at the hospital.
"They're not sure what's going on right now, but it's not normal." They were going to run a few tests and get back to her. Rose had been sitting there an hour and was still shaking. "Miss Rose, your grandson woke up." The nurse led them to the room. As soon as the door opened Ty smiled at all the familiar faces, although he still looked out of it and tired. "Hi."
(cough maybe all the characters should see each other in the hospital cough so it doesn’t look like they all disappeared off the face of the universe cough)
Dr. Ford stepped out of the car, opening the door for Blue and Vash. Vincent said he’d park the car while she took him to the room. It shouldn’t be too long, he probably just had a broken arm and, well of course, his ears. She led the way to the receptionist, who greeted with a smile saying, “Hello Dr. Ford, we already have a room. He’ll have to share with a guy named…” The receptionist looked at a paper, “Ty, but they’ll be a curtain. Sorry, we’re really busy lately.” Dr. Ford frowned, but took the room number without much more complaint.
(By the way his name is just Ty, but that's okay.)
(Oh, I wasn’t sure if he had a full name or anything lol, I’ll fix it)
(Nah your good, it's understandable why you would think of that.)
Kate followed them. Once she saw him, a feeling of relief set over her. "Ty." She walked over to his bedside. "Are you okay?" Just being near him had made her heart slow down.
"Yeah I'm just a bit tired." A smile of reassurance appeared on his face. "You've been crying." His hand went to her face and wiped away some of the tears. Ty's hand slipped into hers and he kissed the back of it. "I'm sorry, it's because of me, isn't it?"
Kate held his hand loose, careful not to break anything. Everything in her wanted to hold him tight so they'd never be apart. "It's okay." She put on a stern face. "But don't you ever do that again, you hear me?" Her face quickly brike back to a smile and her voice quieted. "I love you so much." She almost forgot there were other people in there.
"I love you too." He smile faded and he looked away, "I can't promise you that, sorry," He wish he could, it the way the nurse was talking to his grandmother earlier made it seem like there was seriously something wrong with him. Why now? He didn't understand what was happening, though he refused to cry in front of Kate.
Kate sat down in the chair beside the bed and placed her head on the edge of it, closing her eyes. "I know. I just don't want anything to happen to you. I don't want to lose you." It wasn't only her. There was Rose and Xavier. But most importantly Serra. There was a thick, red string tying her and Ty together, but Serra and Ty were bonded by a rope no one could untie or cut.
(So sorry I've been at church all day.)
Vash held Blues hand still not wanting to let go in fear they'd pull her away. "Eveeythings gonna be okay" she whispered more to reassure herself now.
(Also sorry its so short)
(Ur good :D )
Dr. Ford led them to the elevator, and blue stuck next to Vash’s the entire time. The woman brought them to the room, walking in ahead of them. Blue froze in the doorway when he saw Kate and Ty. They can’t see me like this, they’ll know, they’ll see the bruises, and the- Blue’s grip tightened immensely on Vash’s hand as he stopped in the doorway. If I don’t move, they won’t notice me.
"I kno-" Ty was cut off by Bule standing in the doorway. "Blue?" He could quite tell because there was still a slight blur in his eyes. "Is that you?" He waved him closer, the gang was back together. He was happy to see him, even f it was under this kind of situation.
(Sorry, I'm trying to clean and answer.)
Blue was stuck in the doorway, paling slightly. He couldn’t hear what Ty said, only watch his lips move. Don’t let them see, I just can’t let them know- “I-“ Blue didn’t know what to say, how to react.
Dr. Ford furrowed her brow, “You know each other?”
Kate looked over and said Blue with a girl she didn't recognize. She almost didn't recognize Blue. I was right. She saw the bruises and how hurt he looked. A wave of guilt washed over her. "Blue." She was happy to see him, maybe not like this, but still.
(Yes they are T-rex's)
Vash looked at Blue concern on her face again, something's wrong where her first thoughts before she looked and saw who was in the room. The girl somehow seemed fumiller, but Vash just couldn't place her finger on it.
A man with a white coat walked into Ty's room. "Ty, hello, I'm Dr. James and I'll be taking care of you." He looked and saw many people in the room. "Is there a family member here?" Rose stood and walked out with the Doctor. "Great." He just wanted to know what was wrong with him. "Blue, why are you here?" He wanted to take him mind off of himself and he was worried about him.
