"Hey, if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine," Lilah assured him. "Just know that I'm here if you do."
"Hey, if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine," Lilah assured him. "Just know that I'm here if you do."
Cameron grinned at her. “No, it’s just a lot, our crest is everywhere, you know… the cocky style.”
"So your family is just over-proud of their title?" Lilah asked.
Cameron grunted. “Yeah, it’s really annoying!”
"Wow… I'm sure that must get really obnoxious," Lilah said sympathetically.
“Doesn’t it? It’s constantly everywhere… so exausting…” He sighed.
Lilah hummed in acknowledgment. She took Cameron's arm in both of her hands as am she walked, smiling.
Cameron cleared his throat and shook his head. “Anyway, we’ll probably be up in my room, so it doesn’t matter.”
"What? No grand tour?" Lilah asked teasingly.
Cameron scoffed. “What, you want one?” He asked with a nudge to her waist.
"Kinda," Lilah said, grinning as she nudged him back.
Cameron grinned and nudged again. “There’s not much to see.”
Lilah shoved him gently and walked ahead of him. "I don't mind. It's where you live. I'm curious."
(Might disappear soon.)
(Oki)
Cameron dug a finger into the small of her back. “It’s not a lot, though.”
Lilah jumped and squeaked. "Hey!" she exclaimed with a laugh.
Cameron cackled loudly and hared away from her. “You’ll neeeever catch meeee!”
"No fair! Your legs are longer than mine!" Lilah called after him, continuing at a waking pace.
Cameron skidded to a hault at the end of the street, then whipped around. “You didn’t follow me?”
Lilah waved her hand. "Eh. I don't run."
Cameron snorted. “Come on! It’s good exercise!”
"Nope. I don't run, and there's nothing you can do to make me," Lilah declared, shaking her head.
“Come onnnnnn,” Cameron persisted, waving his arms. “You can do it!”
"Nope. And if you keep trying I'm just going to sit down right here," Lilah said, crossing her arms and giving him a look.
Cameron chuckled and waved an arm. “I can just pick you up.”
Lilah shrugged. "Meh. I'm not too worried about it."
Cameron shrugged and trotted over. “Alright. Sit.”
"What if I don't want to?" Lilah asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
“Then run with me.” Cameron smiled. “There’s no in between.”
Lilah huffed and sat down. "If you pick me up and start running, though, I will make you put me down."
