She rests her head on his chest, trying to steady herself. She can tell something's different, but she can't place her finger on it. "Really, I'm okay." Her voice has gotten smaller. A sudden pain comes again causing all her muscles to tense up.
(Good night :)
The world went numb right before Blue nearly screamed into the man’s face, “I care about her, you-“ Blue sent a string of curses at the man before shoving him away, “If you ever hurt her again-” Blue cut himself off of the threat, leaving it at that. He spun, picking up Vash bridal style and walking straight out of the house, holding Vash close as to shield her from the world, “It’s okay, it’s gonna be okay,” He comforted softly. Gosh his heart pounded. He’d been running off pure adrenaline, and now he breathing was slight ragged just from getting so worked up.
"Obviously not." Ty mumbled under his breath. He entered the nurses office and laid her on the bed, still covering her eyes though. "Somethings wrong." He told the nurse as she walked over. Ty moved to around the bed and sat down so she wouldn't see him.
The nurse tried to talk to Kate about it, but after a few minutes of no answers she checked her vitals. She had opened her eyes just enough to see the general silhouette of the nurse. Voices rung in the back of her head, but she couldn't translate them. At some point, her eyes closed and she drifted off into a painless sleep. Well, in a way. This way she didn't have to think about the pain.
Ty hadn't heard Kate say anything at all. "What's wrong with her?" He immediately stood up and looked over at her. "Hey, Kate you need to wake up." The nurse had already call for an ambulance. "Seriously, you have to wake up. Can you hear me at least?" Damn it! Xavier should have brought her here earlier. People stormed into the room. And gathered her up taking her away.
(Can I time skip to after school?)
(Yeah, do you want me to start it then or you?)
Kate awoke unsure of where she was at first. Beep…Beep…Beep… She hears the monitors and knows she's in a hospital bed. Something sits beneath her nose and she assumes it's some kind of breathing machine. It takes her a moment to remember what happened. She openedened her eyes and looks around. From the looks of the window outside, she'd say it's about six. Ty is standing just outside the door talking to the doctor. The doctor gives him a sorry look and walks away.
Ty waited outside the door, just hoping she was okay. "What's going on?" Xavier walked up, he looked terrified he was pale. "I'm not sure. The doctor wouldn't tell me much since I'm not family." Xavier narrowed his eyes. "Why the hell did you carry her out earlier?" Are we really going to do this here? Ty thought. "Maybe because she was in pain, you should be glad Indid since I saved her life. If she waited for you, she would most likely be dead." Ty stayed calm knowing that if he did Xavier would snap. "Were you just trying to get a chance? She not going to like you Ty, she only sees you as a friend." That was his breaking point. "Do you think that I expected my best friend to fall for the same girl I liked and date her, no because you get everything you want!" Xavier pushed past him and walked towards the door. "Give up." He walked hlin with a smile on his face. "Hey, how are you feeling?" He hoped she didn't hear any of that.
She could hear them, but her brain could barely make out a thing. Something about Ty and not having a chance… Xavier walked in, but his smile seems different. "I'm-" she had to think about her answer for a minute before answering "-I don't know." Which was true, she almost felt numb. "What's going on?"
(I gots to go to bed, nighteo)
They went to the game
"Do you want to go first or should I?"
“Maybe you should, so that I can beat you.” He smirked
Ty just stood outside of the door. He already knew all that, he knew everything. He couldn't take it anymore, the girl he likes, iles his bestfriend and now he's blaming him for just trying to get a chance because he wanted to help Kate, while Xavier was doing nothing. For the first time in a while tears slipped down his face. Grabbing his phone he dialed his grandma's number and she answered on the first ring. "Grandma, I have a request."
Xavier held her hand and smiled again. He was grateful for Ty figuring it out before he did, but he just couldn't help but have a feeling of anger as well. "It's okay I'm here now."
Kate could feel the machine feeding her air as the slight pressure tickled her nose. The room was small with just a few chairs. Kate looked over to the door. "Is Ty okay?" Her eyes were barely open. Why are you so worried about Ty?

Vash didn't want to be carried, but she didn't want to walk either. he knows, he's gonna reject me. I'm going to get sent away she sobbed in her hands not daring to look up. Vash was a complete and utter mess. But then again who wouldn't be? The same things ran threw her head till she started hyperventilating. She struggled her way out of Blue's arms and stood. Putting her hands on her knees she bent over trying to calm down. "Why did you do that?" She asked inbeetewn sobs.

"He's, Uh." He wasn't going to lie about it. Ty probably felt like shit right now. "I would like to lie, but he's not doing good, for many reasons." Xavier didn't want Kate and Ty to talk though.
“Maybe you should, so that I can beat you.” He smirked
"Mh, no. I don't think that's gonna happen." Ash teased, crossing her arms and holding her head a little higher.

Blue put his hands gently on her upper arms, as if worrying something would happen to her. It was just a strange instinct… Blue brushed away her tears with the pad of his thumb. Blue did this, Blue was making her cry, and gosh he felt terrible about it. Blue should’ve backed down, he should’ve controlled his anger, but- “He hurt you, Vash. I-I’m sorry I got mad, just-“ Blue hesitated, but let the words come out, “I can’t let anyone hurt you like that. It’s okay when it happens to me, but not you. I don’t want it to happen to you. I can’t let it happen to you.” Blue explained, almost desperately.
Kate nodded slightly and looked at the ceiling. Her mind ran with questions as she tried to put everything together. It began to slow down as everything seemed to be trying to drag her down into a pit of sleep. She tried her hardest to keep her eyes open. She looked over at her monitor and watched as it ran up and down the screen. She drifted off again.
Xavier held her hand till she fell asleep then left the room. "Hey, about earlier." Ty put his hand up to have him stop talking. "You were right, she's not going to like me back and it's just to hard being here." Xavier didn't like where this was going. "I'm moving. You obviously think I'm trying to steal your girlfriend. And honestly I really want to, and that's not good, so I'm leaving." Xavier grabbed Ty's arm so he couldn't walk away. "You can't just move. You're my bestfriend." Ty looked at Kate's door hoping she was okay. "A bestfriend that wants to go out with your girlfriend, yeah right, I'm a horrible friend." He yanked his arm away. "Please, Ty."

"No you don't get it. He'll send me away now." Her sobbing grew. I don't wanna leave. I don't want to leave you "it is not okay when it happens to you. Not to anyone! Its not right. Its stupid." Something inside of her seemed to break as she wipped her tears away. "Its so stupid"
“What do you mean? What can I do?” Send her away? Blue just wanted to fix everything he screwed up so badly, “I’ll come with you. I follow you wherever you go,” Blue told her, but then added hastily, “If you don’t want me, I won’t.”
"My Parents never wanted me." She said sitting on the ground. "They gave me up not long after I was born." Vash hugged her knees close to her chest. Her sobbing had quieted into silent tears now. "Foster care…" She mumbled just barely autabul.
Blue slid down next to her. He wanted to hold her, tell her it was alright, anything, but he was too afraid that she hated him now, that it would only make things worse. Blue slid off his sweatshirt, no longer caring in the bruises on his arms showed or not, and gave it to her, “You can use it as a handkerchief if you want,” He whispered before saying, “Your parents are foolish people. They gave up the most beautiful strong lovely girl I’ve ever met. And I’m so selfish because I actually glad it happened. If it didn’t I would have never met you. I would have never fallen in love,” Blue grabbed her hand gently, rubbing circles over it with his thumb. He needed to fix everything, but he didn’t know how.
Vash let out a small laugh pushing her sadness way, "I'm not gonna use your jacket as a handkerchief" she leaned her head on his shoulder. "I'm kinda glad my parents gave me up though. I'd have never met you if they decided to keep me." At this moment she was content with just leaning on him. Content to soak up what ever time they had left together. "Thank you" She said half asleep now. The nights events, and not to mention the sobbing, had worn her out.
Blue, taking the leaning of her head as a welcome, wrapped his arms around her and held her and whispered, “I’m so sorry I wrecked everything.” He just wanted Vash to be okay. He wanted to fix everything that was crumbling around them.
Vash sighed, "its fine. Joes been one of the more chill foster parents I've had over the years. He'll probably shout at me or something…and then I'll probably stay Becuse he's kinda nice" she went on explaining. Hoping that what she was saying was true. "And if not I'll come back. You know I'm like a cockroach, I don't go away easily." She laughed at herself.

“If you leave I’m coming with you. I don’t care what my father will do, I’ll camp out at a library near your house so we can stay together.” Blue promised her, shifting a little closer so he could keep her warm as the night chill started to sink in, “I love you. I’m not giving that up.”
