A superhero lives across the hall in their dormitory from a journalist who researches them. They have to try to evade them, just about every day, in order to keep their identity secret.

Kasey bit her lip as she changed back into her normal clothes, then stuffed her suit into her backpack. She checked, again, to make sure no one was watching and slipped out of the alley. Starting back toward her apartment, making sure she wasn't being followed.
Liam sighed and ran a hand through his hair before slipping his pen behind his ear, “Missed her… again.” He muttered, looking round the street at the scene in front of him. Police everywhere, not a great place to be. Liam took a few more notes before heading in the direction of his apartment.
Kasey fumbled around in her backpack for her keys as she walked up to the door.
"Dang it," she muttered under her breath. "Where are they, where are they?"
“Hey Kasey!” Liam called as he walked up to his own apartment door, “Lost your keys?” He asked, smiling a little.
"Huh? Oh. Yeah. Apparently," Kasey stuttered, practically sticking her head inside her bag. It seemed to have worked, as she pulled them out of the bag. "Gotcha! Finally…"
Liam laughed a little and unlocked his door, greeted by a purring black cat, “Hey buddy. Well, I’ll see you around then!” He said, walking into his apartment and shutting the door.
Kasey unlocked her door and stepped inside, sighing in relief.
I really hope that he didn't see anything in my bag… I don't know how I would have explained that.
She walked into her kitchen to find something to eat. Using her powers drained her, so she usually ate something as soon as she got home.
As soon as Liam walked in, he fed his cat, Mortem and then rushed over to his computer.
Time to write up a story from today’s incident.
Mortem walked around Liam’s feet as he typed up what happened, only stoping once to grab a tea and some toast before working again.
"Meow… Merrrrow."
"Ginger! C'mere kitty-kitty," Kasey called over her shoulder to the calico cat. Ginger pranced over and rubbed against Kasey's legs, and she bent down to pet her.
Trying to ignore Mortem’s meows and calls for attention, Liam eventually sent the email of the story to his boss before picking his cat up.
“You’re an attention seeker, you know that right?” Liam sighed, “Who am I kidding, you’re just a cat, and a cute one at that.”
Kasey smiled and sat down on the floor to pet the cat. After a while, her stomach started rumbling, so she scratched behind Ginger's ears one more time and stood.
"Sorry, Ging, but I've gotta eat," Kasey apologized as she started looking for food.
Liam hummed to himself and ordered himself a pizza. After putting his shoes back on, he headed back out to pick up his food. Now he thought about it, he should haave ordered the pizza for delivery.
