Kasey pulled out ingredients to make spaghetti, then set about doing so. She pulled her phone out and put some music on, dancing around the kitchen a bit as she cooked.

Liam walked past the crime scene from earlier on the way to collect his food. He stopped for a few minutes and took some photos on his phone as he didn’t have his better camera. He frowned and continued on his quest for food.
Kasey had almost finished making her food when her arm suddenly started to hurt. She pulled her sleeve up to look at it, grimacing when she saw the large, darkening bruise.
"Owww…"
Once the pizza was in Liam’s hands and he was heading home, he was stopped when he felt something in his pocket. Whirling around, he found a guy in a black mask trying to pick pocket him. Before he could say anything, he was punched in the face.
Kasey bit her lip and gently brushed her fingers over the bruise, wincing when it hurt. She quickly finished her food, put it in the fridge for later, and rushed over to her bathroom to find something to put on the bruise.
Liam stumbled backwards and his pizza fell out of his hands. He swore colourfully before being punched again and hitting the ground, “Hey! What the heck man!”
As soon as she had gotten cream put on her bruise and eaten some food, Kasey decided to go for a walk. She walked past the pizza place and saw Liam on the ground, a box of pizza next to him and another guy standing over him.
"Hey, what's going on here?" she asked, walking over.
The guy took his gaze from Liam to Kasey and in those few moments, Liam kicked the guy in the stomach, sending him flying back. Liam stood and the other guy turned and ran.
“He tried to pick pocket me. When I noticed he.” He indicated to the bruise forming on his left eye.
"Oh. Oh, wow. Gosh," Kasey reached over to lightly touch the area around Liam's eye. "I've got something that might help with that. Do you want me to bring it over to your apartment, or you could come get it at my place."
“Oh, um,” Liam rubbed at his neck, “You can bring it over to mine if you want,” He laughed a little, “Good thing I wasn’t wearing my glasses.”
Kasey nodded. "All right. I'll do that. Um… Do you need any help or anything?" she offered.
Liam shook his head, “No, I think I’m good. Just whatever you deem will help the bruise.” He said, picking up the pizza, which luckily hadn’t fallen out the box, “Still good.”
(Oh my gosh, I just watched the funniest video…)
"Okay. Well, I'm going to head back to my place and grab that stuff. I'll walk over as soon as I've got it," Kasey said.
(Aha, what was is??)
Liam smiled, “Alright, cool. Let’s go then.” Liam led Kasey back to the apartments which didn’t take too long, “I’ll leave the door unlocked so just let yourself in when your ready.”
(Collins Key's wisdom teeth removal.)
"Got it. I'll just be a second," Kasey said, giving Liam a small smile before she walked into her apartment to grab the cream.
(Okay)
Liam nodded and walked into his apartment, Mortem getting under his feet and nearly making him trip. Grabbing a slice of pizza,he quickly scanned his emails for a response from his boss. Nothing just yet.
Kasey quickly grabbed a smaller container of the cream she had used earlier, then dashed across the hall. She knocked on the door, simply to be polite, then stepped inside.
"Hey, I'm here."
Liam looked over and smiled,
“Hey. Wait, let me go take my contacts out.” He said, turning to go to the bathroom to take his contacts out, leaving his computer on.
Kasey's gaze flitted to the computer, and she briefly saw a word that looked like "Kinisie" on the screen.
What is he doing? she wondered, tearing her eyes away to keep herself from looking at it further.
Liam came back in and pushed his glasses up his nose, smiling softly.
“Alright, what’s this miracle solution you have?” He asked walking over to Kasey.
Kasey returned Liam's smile and held up the bruise cream.
"It's just bruise cream. It helps me a lot," she explained. "I, uh, I'm pretty clumsy, so I get hurt a lot."
Liam nodded, “That’s understandable.” He replied, “Thanks for lending it to me.” He rubbed at his neck.
"Yeah, it's no problem," Kasey assured him. She blinked a couple of times with a sudden thought. "Do you need help with that at all?" She gestured to the area around Liam's eye with her free hand.
Liam shook his head, “No, I think I’ve got it. I’m not the injured, Kasey.” A smile tugged at the corners of his lips. It was only then when Mortem rubbed against his legs and Kasey’s, “Bloody cat.” He muttered.
"Hey, kitty," Kasey murmured, bending down to pet the cat. She scratched behind his ear, then straightened to hand the jar to Liam. "Here ya go."
Liam took it graciously, “Thankyou, and don’t mind him, he’s an attention seeker.” He indicated to Mortem at Kasey’s feet and rolled his eyes as Mortem rubbed up against her leg.
"Oh, that's perfectly okay," Kasey laughed. "My cat, Ginger, is the same way. She's either looking for attention or hiding."
Liam chuckled, “Yeah, Mortem here is either trying to get attention for eating. The amount of food I go through for him is insane,” He shrugged, “Oh well, as long as he’s happy.”
(It's five in the morning, and my friends and I are still awake…)
Kasey laughed a bit. "He's going to be overweight if you feed him too much," she teased Liam.
(Aha, I’ve had that before, it’s only 7:40 in the evening for me)
“I know, I know. I tried putting him in a diet… that didn’t work out at all.” He laughed slightly at the memory.
