"Yeah. Most people ask 'Doctor Who', though." Susan remarked.

Deleted user

"I've been called many things." the Doctor said. Though his tone was casual, you could tell there was bitterness and resentment underneath that calm composure.

@Fraust

Lucas wanted to ask further questions, but kept quiet so as to not pry. "M-My name is Lucas. I don't live in any special dimensions or anything… just here on this island."

Deleted user

"Well then, Lucas, why do you think I received a distress call?" the Doctor asked.

@Fraust

"A distress call? What are you talking about?" Lucas looked confused, his flashlight hanging loosely in his hand.

Deleted user

"Psychic…. oh, never mind. I probably landed in the wrong place. Again." he said.

@Fraust

"Wait wait wait, can you explain it more? I've heard about people with those kinds of powers before, so you might be in the right place."

Deleted user

"No, I mean psychic paper. It receives messages all the time, cries for help, distress calls, that sort of thing." he sighed.

Deleted user

"Oh, and I can use it to break into places. And out of them." he said. It was a universal ID card, even better than a Skeleton Key. "But it said 'Help'. Just that."

@Fraust

"How are you supposed to know where to go if it just says help, then? Does it say what kind of help someone needs? Who needs it?"

Deleted user

"People are generally very vague about what help they want. Believe me, I'd love them to be more specific." the Doctor scoffed.

@Fraust

"That still doesn't explain how you can find the person… can you track the messages to the source or something?" Lucas was even more confused now. Who were these people really? Why were they here? How did they even find this place?

Deleted user

"No, not direct tracking. This may even be the wrong time period." the Doctor said.

@Fraust

"Then how do you do it? How are you supposed to help people if they don't say where they are or what they need?"

Deleted user

"Well, quite frankly, I just travel somewhere and trouble finds me. It's a lottery." the Doctor admitted.

Deleted user

"Not always! I mainly just…. It's far to difficult to explain to someone with such a… a… a human brain!" the Doctor half shouted.

@Fraust

Lucas flinched a bit at the Doctor's yelling. If this guy's not careful he'll wake up everyone… "A-Alright, sorry… Do you guys want to come to my house or something? I… I-I dunno what you're really doing here."

Deleted user

"I don't need a place to stay. I suppose I'll be going now." he said, stepping back inside the TARDIS. Susan gave an apologetic smile and followed him.

@Fraust

"Wait! Where… where are you going?" Please don't leave me here… I'm more alone in the place I call 'home' than I would be with people I don't even know…

@Fraust

"But why? Don't you ever just want to stay somewhere for awhile?" Or take someone new with you? Honestly, Lucas was almost completely sure that his father wouldn't even notice that he had gone. He kept calling him Claus, anyways; that is, when he even noticed his existence.

Deleted user

"No, I'm not much for staying. I prefer going, much more exciting! Do you like to go places too?" he asked Lucas.

@Fraust

"Er, I don't really get to go anywhere that's not on the island. There's no way to get off without an adult when you're a kid, and I know my father wouldn't go…" Lucas looked away awkwardly.

Deleted user

"Oh? Oh? Oh… I guess…. well, erm, I hadn't been offering at the time but…. Ah, I don't know? Possibly?" the Doctor stuttered.

@Fraust

"What? You're not making any sense." Lucas put his hands in his jacket pockets to keep them warm. It was definitely getting colder outside.
(I should probably go to bed now. Goodnight! ^^)
