It's very awkward, and in a Mind Reader's presence, not very surprising.

"Stop it." She muttered, knowing what it feels like to have her mind read by now.
"I'm not reading your mind, North," M growled.
"Then why are you still mad at me?"
"What is the connection between those two things? I should be asking you that."
"I said I overreacted and you ignored me completely! What was that about?"
Pax sighed quietly and M shook his head. "I understand that you overreacted. I didn't say anything in response because you were avoiding my gaze."
"That doesn't mean i'm not sorry.." She said quietly.
"But it usually means someone is nervous or lying."
"I was nervous because I didn't think you would forgive me.."
"You shouldn't have been."
A small smile formed on her lips and she glanced up at M.
M rolled his eyes and glanced back over at her. Pax had a little smile on his face.
(i have to go i might be back who knows)
(Okay)
(hi)
(Howdy. I'll respond a lot faster because my Notebook calmed down)
(lol ok)
(^~^)
M rolled his eyes and glanced back over at her. Pax had a little smile on his face.
(if i could draw better i would so draw this)
North reached over and picked a book off the shelf, the one M had been reading when she first met him. She began reading it, the smile still on her lips.
(I might be able to… wait are you referring to M and Pax, or what North is doing?)
M noticed the book cover and sat back into the couch, picking the book he was reading back up. Pax looked at it.
"Butterflies again?"
M didn't look ashamed, but maybe a little embarrassed.
(just all three of them being adorable together in the library all smiling)
North laughed and hid her face behind the book.
"Yes. If you remember I happen to like them." M's voice was stifled and awkward.
"I remember, but… it's kinda weird for a full grown six-thousand-year-old."
North continued reading, her shoulders shaking with silent laughter.
"You know what, Pax, I don't really care anymore. I find them fascinating."
"Do you know what I find fascinating, M?"
"What?"
(cliffhangers)
North peeked over the top of her book, listening to Pax.
"The fact that someone like you can actually insist that butterflies are interesting."
M spluttered angrily. "W-well, we both have our interests, don't we? Like that time you-"
"We are not going to talk of that time!"
"Why not? Does it embarrass you? Oh, so noble Pax?"
North watched them talking.
Pax fell silent and M rolled his eyes.
"That's what I thought." He focused on his book as Pax dozed on M's chest.
North focused once again on the book, not noticing the steady decline of light coming in through the windows.
