North walked out to the fountain and appeared in the clearing moments later.
Zackary obviously wasn't her loyal steed, so he wasn't awaiting her.
North paced back and forth, waiting for Zackary.
He took the longest yet: thirty minutes. When he finally landed into the clearing, he looked fluffed out and red in the face.
"Hey, sorry about that."
"No problem. What were you doing?"
Zackary shook his head. "So what's up?" He was so distracted, his wings didn't disappear, so they lingered and fluttered behind him like the pair of large shadows they were.
"It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be I guess."
Zackary smiled faintly. "See, Ari told you. They're not that bad."
"Yeah, it was fine before because it was just Pax, M, and I, but now..I don't know, i'm the only one without someone else..it's weird."
Zackary sighed and blinked sympathetically. "If you want, you could stay with Ari and I. But that might make it worse." He shrugged.

"No, no. It's fine. It's just a little irritating. What on earth were you doing?"
"That… doesn't matter. So, what did you wanna do? Stay here?"
"Can I stay for the afternoon? I just need a break."
"Yeah! At our place?"
"Unless you don't want me."
"Nah, climb on." He turned around. "Huh, my wings are still out."
North climbed off of him once they reached the house.
Zackary's wings disappeared this time and he opened the door to the cottage.
"You sure you're okay?" She said walking in after him.
"Mhm." Zackary sat down on the couch, where Ari sat watching TV.
"Help yourself to anything, North," Ari said with a smile.
"Thanks." She sat down in a chair near the couch and (idk.)
