Something I thought of is could there be a way to actually have like a family tree? Not just say who's who but like have an actual chart thing.

Something I thought of is could there be a way to actually have like a family tree? Not just say who's who but like have an actual chart thing.

This would be wonderful.

It would be really nice if we could put deities in basically any slot where characters go. Ex: the maker section of items. I have the pages of a gods spell book that would be nice to have him listed as the creator of and most of the items I'll be putting will most likely be religious artifacts of the gods of the world of which all would need the gods be listed. Another example would be governments members section. Basically anywhere a character can be added I would find great use for placing deities.

Also a dimensions/planes/worlds category would be nice, tho I suppose locations works to an extent.

Another thing that would be nice is having birthplace allow for any of the location pages IE: Locations, Countries, etc.

A bit of a problem I have is with the default descriptions like "how tall is this race on average?" some of them get cut off and only show a part of it. Ex: Airforce section of government for me is "What does (government) airforce look" and it cuts off there.

Edit: also some places that are deity slots link the character section still(I assume a relic of a time before the deity section.)

Edit2: It would be nice to have races and creatures be listed in the children section of the deities.

Edit3: Basically being able similar things in that type of link slot would be extremely nice ex: locations countries landmarks or towns in birthplace link slots.

Maybe there could be a place in our profiles to be able to add a signature. We could add things we like, info about books we're doing and a little about us(no personal information of course). I don't even know if you're able to tbh, but that would be nice in my opinion.

I like the signature idea and also could there be a way to like put together a rough picture of your characters? Like as you choose hair color and stuff it starts putting together a picture which you can adjust.

Instead of having, for example, the characters in the character tab stacked in a row, may you have them shaped in squares. As a post-it, that in a square there is a character's name and perhaps in which universe it exists. So you do not have to click on it and read it if you do not remember it. It feels more organized for me, so it's just a tip if more people want it too! :)

That sounds super cool. Another idea I had is maybe an advertisement page for people to post other roleplay sites or writing sites for people to have help with writing or to roleplay with others. I understand if you wouldn't want an advertisement page though.

I've been thinking, i'm not sure if something like this has been suggested but - an events page would be good too. Things that may happen in the story or in the past - not a scene but something that occurs of significance. Sort of like a creation event.

Hey! This is a suggestion page, so I have a suggestion. Set up an app! Where you can access all the same things and get notifications from your discussions, or just have a specific place for your Notebook account. I think this would be really cool!

hey! quick suggestion-

would it be possible to have a separate section in the forums that JUST shows the ones that we've participated in? It's kind of a bust to go through all the categories trying to figure out where ive replied and where i haven't. I simply cant remember all the names of the chats ive commented on.

@TinyZombieKat there should be a little yellow bell next to the ones you have notifications on for. Have you seen those?

Ok, this is suuuuuper specific and really not practical at all but:
I would love a star chart feature. We have all these planets lined up, but no way to organize them in Notebook. I have to keep a handmade star chart with my DM stuff for games. I'd rather be able to drag and drop planets onto a chart and connect them to each other and what not. Also, if anyone has any cool resources for making star charts (I do not have photoshop) I'm all ears!

I wish there was a better reply system. That’d be nice. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I try to comment, I can’t see what I’m typing? As soon as I type, it moves my screen up just so I can’t see the little text box. Please fix this glitch!

@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl For the glitch, it would be good to list your operating system/device and the browser you use

Example: I'm currently running Waterfox (64-bit Firefox) on Windows 7, and I can't replicate the glitch you mentioned

In Characters, in the Family section, It would be nice to have a tab for Uncles, Aunts, Grandparents, Cousins, etc. Love this site. So helpful. :)

Maybe add a linkable Religion tab to Characters?

You can. You just have to click on the globe in the top left corner and pick a universe.

A style section in Characters would be very helpful as well. For Clothes and accessories, like jewelry!
