@WolfieVampire1946 How often do you need to see both lists at the same time? I'm open to something like that (neat idea), but you can already filter your list down to a specific universe and can jump between universes with the dropdown (globe icon) in the top-left of any page. Would you prefer to see all lists on the same page with tabs instead?

@Miranda

@admiralfoxx there is an app named Mindly, it that how you mean by the planets? You can has it to charackters and stuff, write information i each ball :)

I would like to suggest that a way be made to sort your characters. I'm an organized person, which is one reason I enjoy this site so much. If I could sort my characters into minor, major, adult, child, etc., that would be great. Thank you!

Or by story. I have a lot of stories that take place in the same universes and I'd love to be able to see only those from X story at a time. That would need a function to link characters to multiple stories, too, since there tends to be a lot of overlap.

@thehobbitgirl

I have a suggestion about the locations and then the premium pages. Under locations, there's a population box. But that's not a part of the town. To get all the information about my one town, I have to have two (one under the town section and one under the locations section). Is there anyway to add all the aspects of locations to town, and countries, so you can pick and chose which to use, instead of having things all over the place?

I would like to suggest adding something like a "Materials" page, for things like metals and minerals, as I would not consider them "Technologies", and I don't know where else to put them.

Would it be possible to have to option to make something akin to one time access links to private page? or even being able to have a special link or a password locked page as being able to show pages to my players without having to make them public would be nice.

So, my suggestion would be on custom pages to allow subcategories in those pages. I have one for the book summary, and it would be nice to be able to go from the start to the end in different tabs.

@Krystal

Something I thought of is could there be a way to actually have like a family tree? Not just say who's who but like have an actual chart thing.

I agree. Currently, I use Family Echo to make family trees for my characters, but it would be much more convenient to be able to do it on this site, especially if the names were or could be linked to the character profile. If it was implemented along with a custom calendar bit that would allow you to create your own days per year, days per month, month per year, and hours per day (not as necessary but would be cool) that you could custom name it would be even better as it could allow those of us who are working with a world that doesn't follow our own world's calendar system to set birth and death years that are accurate to our stories. Plus it could be used to link important events in our characters lives to a calendar such as birth date, wedding date (if they married), and death date.

In connection with the calendar and family tree it would be nice to be able to create a timeline where we could place important events and link them to one or multiple boards such as characters, locations, landmarks, etc involved in said event. Thus far this is a feature that I have not seen on any of the sites I use for writing and planning. Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing with us such a wonderful and useful site.

@Krystal

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this yet but a feature where we can change the font or make the text smaller would be immensely useful as the default font is massive and cumbersome. Font like the one used in the forums would be vastly preferable to me in the profile areas such as the character sheets. Even the edit view of the characters is preferable as it is smaller and neater in the edit view than what is currently there outside of edit view.

I would love to be able to mark my characters as dead or alive? I have many flashback scenes of characters that have died.

I REALLY WANT THIS FEATURE! Along with the Minor Characters, one. And it'd be great to have the character's name grayed-out in the character list so it's easy to tell who's dead and alive at a glance– and maybe a different color for minor characters?

I agree. Currently, I use Family Echo to make family trees for my characters,

I tried that, but it's SUCH A PAIN to do extended families because everyone has to be related very specifically to everyone else and same-sex partnerships are such a pain. Also, FE only lets you see a generation or two at a time, so it's still not good for really looking at your characters' connections.

I've been using https://bubbl.us/ and it is AMAZING for it~! I can have ALL my characters' various trees and relationships in one place, with other-colored bubbles denoting living\dead\other status. It also lets you type in everything and with arrows, so it allows for things like one-sided infatuation and friendships.

@greenbutwise

If it hasn't been already, I'd like to suggest something like a folklore or folktale page. I have a lot of tales and fables in my stories and I don't really have a place to put them.

Also maybe change how the plus button works (the create page shortcut thingy). Right now when you press it, the page types shoot out vertically. But if you have a lot of pages on the icons run passed the top of the screen, especially on mobile. when I'm on my laptop I have to zoom out the screen and when I'm on my phone I have to scroll through the home page to get to the create page I want. Maybe make it so we can customize the order of the icons so we can put our most used where they're easiest to get to. or maybe have them shoot out into a circle like the new post button on tumblr mobile. or something.

@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

I think it’d be great in general if you could have sort of a folder where you can keep randomly written things. Like the scratchpad, but multiple pages are possible.
