"Ok." she shrugged then took a childrens book 'Cinderella'

Aeron stood up, taking his glasses with him and sat down at the table.

She opened the first page and gave him a peice of scrap paper "These are the letters." she said drawing them on

“Okay….” He said, coping her movements.

“…good!” She said surprised, his letters were almost a perfect match

“Really?” he said, suprised that she thought he was doing well.

Olivia smiled at him and started to say the letters “… w, x, y, z!” She finished

“That wasn’t…too hard.” He said, staring at the page.

“Ok now I’ll help you form words.” She said as she wrote down simple words: apple, ball, cat, donkey.

“Thanks again for helping me…” He said.

“It’s fine.” She said looking away she pointed at the words and said them “now you”

He shakily copied the words down, biting his lip in concentration.

“Good… good.. this letter is drawn wrong.” She said then corrected it. She said the 4 words out loud. “Now you say them

“A-ap-apple, b-all ball, c-cat, don-donk-donkey…”

“Perfect!” She exclaimed. She wrote down a 2 sentaves describing the room they were in “try reading this”

“T-the r-room con-contains mu-multi-multipule b-book sh-shelves.”

“A small mixup with a letter or two but that was so good for someone who has never learned!” She exclaimed she wrote more sentences and he read them. They worked like this for a while until Aeron could read a small paragraph with one or two stutters

“The a-autumn leaves fell to the g-ground making little n-noise.”

“Good!” She got a simple nursery rhyme book and set it in front of him. “These will help you learn better to read.” She said (time skip?)

After a while of Aeron learning how to read, with only a few stutters in each sentence they decided to take a break. Aeron got up to make some tea.

“Oh do you want something to eat?” She asked feeling famished herself “I can make chicken sandwiches for us!” She said

“I uh, um…sure.” He said, still making the tea for himself and her.

She started humming a very common song and took out the necessary ingredients (sing is the song from how to train your dragon the love song)

Aeron hummed it with her, surprisingly knowing the song.
(What’s the name? The romantic flight?)

Olivia was surprised that he knew the song but said nothing about it. She put the sandwiches on the table and watched as he poured the tea

“There you go.” He said, passing her the cup of tea
