“Thanks!” She replied.

He sat down and took a sandwich, biting into it, “These are good.” He said mouth still full.

“Thank you.” She said. She finished her food then put the dishes in the sink and washed them, still humming the song. She wiped her hands then went to her room and started singing it.

Aeron sighed and looked out the window, a storm was brewing. The clouds over head were growing darker and the sound of thunder could be hear in the distance. He had laid traps out the morning, meaning he had to go out and get them, "Olivia! I'm going out for a few, don't go anywhere, I'll be back shortly."

“Fine!” She replied from her room. She waited u TIL he left then started tidying up the room. She started singing and swaying to the music while she worked.

Aeron quickly went and found his traps, having caught two rabbits in the time since he laid them out. It started to rain, but Aeron didn't mind. He took his time walking back to the cabin.

Olivia took the broom she was sweeping with and started dancing with it
(I do that irl lmao)

Aeron opened the door with a bang, leaving the traps outside but the rabbits he placed on the table.

Olivia was in the room sweeping (dancing)

Aeron looked over at where Olivia was "sweeping" the ground and smiled. he then shook his head and snapped out of whatever that was, "I see your making great progress sweeping the floor." He said.

Olivia shrieks and held the broom in front of her in defence “oh it’s just you.” She said her heart pounding

"Yes, it's just me," He said laughing a little, "Sorry to scare you."

“Nah it’s ok.” She replied laughing. Suddenly they heard loud knocking on the door and she heard her father voices yelling her name.

Aeron got his wings out but casually opened the door and lent against the frame, "Hello." He said, giving a half grin, half smirk.

Olivia hid under the bed.
“I know she’s in there with you beast!” She heard her father say

"Now, why would I keep her here?" He said casually, "And I'm not a beast."

“Aha! So you do know who I’m talking about!” He replied

"Who? I have kept girls here, but not recently." He frowned, forcing his face into confusion, "Sorry Sir."

“Then you wouldn’t mind us looking now would you?” He said pushing his way inside

"Hmm, sure." he shrugged. He sent a shadow to where Olivia was and the shadow hid her.

Olivia gasped at the cold feeling of the shadow then held her breath when her father looked underneath. “I see I’m sorry for disturbing you.” He said to the dragon then left the house

"Yeah, oh and come back again and I won't be so nice." He snapped, shutting the door. The shadow around Olivia disappeared and Aeron collapsed into a chair, rubbing a hand over his face.

“Why did you hide me? You could have let him take me?” She asked Aeron tentatively

"Did you want to go with him?" He asked quietly, not looking at her.

“I-I don’t know. But you could have let me be found? I helped you read so our deal finished.” She said

"Then go then." He said, his voice still quiet.

“I-I … can’t.” She whispered to herself

"Why can't you? You said yourself the deal is over so you are free to leave." He said, his voice returning to normal.

“I… don’t know.” She replied confused

"Why don't you know?"
