"They're getting closer and closer together," Petrichor replied breathlessly. "Like an alarm when no one hits the snooze button."

"I have no idea," Emil commented as he rubbed his temples slightly. "There is practically nothing that could be related to this. Unless you want me to take into consideration the wind speeds in London or the fashion trends in South Korea." He sighed, typing in a few more words. "There was, however, something strange I observed. The air pressure is seemingly being affected by the pulses, just on a very minor level. But I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence or not."

@Oakie Dokie

"I don't know what the h*ll it means! Maybe it's a countdown? Or they're building up to a big event?" Petrichor rubbed his temples and pulled up a chair, aggressively sipping at his coffee.

@WriteOutofTime

"Well, I theorize that it's definitely some sort of device," Dara said, her eyes on the ceiling, "but a big one. Has to be, in order for us to detect the pulses so strongly. But it's well contained, it's not effecting really anyone, it's just…there. And notice how the news hasn't mentioned one word about it. Maybe they haven't detected it at all."

Emil continued to type into the document on his computer, a small smile on his lips. "Well, we aren't using the most legal equipment to detect these," he said, referring to the possibly illegal emp they had modified to pick up signals that most others couldn't.

@Oakie Dokie

Petrichor snickered softly, revealing his disturbingly white teeth that stood out like light against shadow. "Erza, do you have any info?"

@A5_ WICKED

Erza's headphones where back over her ears. Her eyes where narrowed with concentration. THe data flying by on her screen was quite weird

@SaltyLasagna

Artemis yawned and stretched. "Guys, I'm bored. There's literally nothing to do and I don't know anything about your complicated power surges."

@rot-baby-rot!

(Oof, I'm just gonna pretend that Hase went out)
Hase strolled back into the lab, coffee in hand. He sat down in one of the chairs and rolled over to Dara's desk. "You figure out the pulse thing yet?" He asked, taking a sip of the bitter drink.

@WriteOutofTime

"Did you really just go buy coffee and not buy me any?" Dara glared at him. "I thought we were friends." She shuffled her papers around. "And no. I haven't. I just figured out that the electromagnetic pulse has a unique signature only able to be detected by our hastily put together, illegal EMP."

@rot-baby-rot!

"Hey, we are friends, I'm only drinking this because my uncle said I should probably stop going days without eating or drinking. So, I went to that weird cafe that also sells drugs and fireworks- if you know who to ask- and got disgusting coffee." He took another sip and looked over at her notes. "Anyway, maybe the times are some warning from ancient gods. We're probably all going to die soon," he rolled backwards, back towards his desk.
