"Argh!" Phiri screamed, and she pushed out a huge wind current that rattled the trees. "Pirate! If you care about him at all, let him breathe!" she cried out.

(Like, by someone else)
"P-Phiri…?" I wish I could see through this dumb bag! I'm practically blind!

(could get another pirate up in here)
Flint reaches the boat and climbs on. He nods to the captain before opening the bag and putting Lucas into a bird cage.

Lucas lay limply on the floor of the cage, breathing but still only half conscious.

( yeah I guess her being captured would be fun! )
"I have to get on that boat!" she said to herself. As the pirate climbed up, she flew over to the side, peering over the boards just in time to see her brother dropped into a cage. "No!" she whispers.

Manilla sees another fairy go after and pulls herself onto the boat.

Flint takes the birdcage down to the shared cabins and puts it by his bed. "You alright?" He asks Lucas.

"…Phiri…?" Lucas whispered, opening his eyes partially. His vision was blurry, but he thought he could make out the shape of other fairies.

"Manilla!" Says Phiri surprised. Then she hears the pirate ask Lucas if he's alright, which makes her angry. If you cared about him, you wouldn't have taken him.

"Eh, an air fairy. Really, Flint." Trin sneers, while tying her coal hair back in a braid.

Manilla ducks right before the new pirate sees her.

"W-Who's there?" Lucas blinked, lifting himself up a bit on his arms and groaning.

"Great, more." Phiri mumbled.

"Yeah, what about it?" Flint looks over at Trin his expression hiding annoyance.

"Yeah, what about it?" Flint looks over at Trin his expression hiding annoyance.

"Trinity, nice to meet you." Trin reaches to shake hands with the fairy, than draws back, realizing how silly that would be.

"Don't touch him!" Phiri whispers to herself, fighting the urge to fly right at the humans and throw them off the boat. Except she was a fairy, and they were humans. So that wouldn't work.

"Air fairies are weak. At least I can make money battling my ember." Trin nods to another cage, holding a scared ember fairy.

Its wings are damaged, the light in its eyes burning out.

(Yeah, and Lucas is literally a child lmao)
Lucas pulled himself into a sitting position, groaning and putting a hand to his head.

Flint takes a few deep breaths trying to contain his anger, "It's not fair to battle fairies, maybe they don't want to fight."

Phiri sees Lucas is awake, so she flies down to the base of the boat, going around looking for a closer spot. She decides to hide behind a barrel, at least two yards away from her brother. I'm on a pirate ship. Wow.

(btw wouldn't it be interesting if pirates fight their fairies for money)

( That would be cool! And Flint is trying to stop it maybe? But thats his decision, I was just throwing that out there. )
