Thinking about some of my old writing and it HURTS
My beta reader was my best friend who co-authored with me, and we were both in, like, 5th grade

It was Pokémon, I think, but we both didn't like how they "needed" trainers, so we had a group of wild Pokémon just living in a treehouse and throwing rocks at people
And her team was all Eevee-evolutions because of course they were

makes me think of a webcomic that followed exclusively eeveelutions. It was pretty good, I only stopped reading it cuz the site it was on got destoryed

oh good grief. I wrote a 50k word thing that was just… 10 chapters of ANGST.
I cringe so bad anytime i have to reference it to write my better stuff now, so i feel that

Oh dear-
I think my worst project was this massive thing about wolves vs werewolves
None of the characters were introduced, there was five plots happening at the same time, at some point a god appeared and gave the protag superpowers only to never show up again-
Truly a train wreck-

But hey, wouldn't be here today without it, so there's that

right, you said 5th grade ish. so young. Which makes it More impressive.
also. i dont think i could write while someone else is talking. i doodled a lot, but never could write stuff out. thats a level of focus I dont possess

the highway is like thirty minutes away from where i currently am :(
