She bites her lip, hand still on the tree as she examined them. She then looks around.

Yui offered their hand to the little one. "Would you like me to show you around, dearest?"

She stares at their hand, then to their face. It was as if she was observing them. Comparing. After a long pause, she slowly takes their hand.

Yui gently picked her up and began to walk, showing her her new home. They were sure to be very gentle and calming to the new soul.

She squeaked as she was picked up and started squirming. But after a while…she calmed down, looking up at them.

They were calmly carrying her to their palace. Yui showed her around and brought her to her room. "Here's your new home, dear."

She looks around, then to the floor. She looked very confused.

Yui went to the kitchen to bake some cookies for the little one as she looked around.

She checks under the bed, then pulls her way up onto the big bed and stands on it, looking around still.

The room was very cozy and homey. The smell of chocolate fudge cookies fill the palace rooms and halls.

She blinks, then sits down. She looked so confused.

Yui came back with a small plater of cookies and a little bit of flour on their face. "Cookie's are finished, dear."

She stares at them, then scurries under the blankets and whispers, “Monsters…”

Yui sighs and sets the plate of cookies down at the end of the bed for her, hoping she'd warm up to them soon..

She thought she was done for on that ship…so…what happened? Where was she?

Yui hummed a song as they sit in the corner of the room on the floor.
Leo was looking for Yui, saying a new puppy soul arrived.

Kiki peaks out from under the covers, silent.

When she peeked out, no one was there. Yui was off to welcome the new fluffy arrival.

She bites her lip, then slowly climbs down her bed and wanders into the hall.

Kiki giggles slightly and walks up to it.

It looks at her and tweets, moving its wings a bit.

Kiki stands in front of it, tilting her head. It wasn’t like those other monstrous creatures she had seen before. No. This one was different. It looked beautiful and a lot smaller. Nicer. It wasn’t giant.
She gently pets its wing and smiles brightly, silent.

The parakeet hopped into her hand, seeming to trust her and enjoy her presence.
