Leo walks in and sees, leaving soon after to not disturb the little girl.

Kiki leans against the wall, offering the bird a toy.

The bird gently grabs it with its beak and swings it around playfully. The little bells on the toy jingle as it shakes it.

Kiki starts giggling, watching with a big smile on her face.

Aster sat in front of the door of his new home.

The bird continues to play with the toy like a puppy would, enjoying seeing her smile.

Kiki and the bird keep playing. And for once in her life, she actually felt like she didn’t have to keep running. She didn’t need to constantly worry. Right now, it was just her and the bird. For once, she actually felt calm.

The bird heard a whistle and gently dropped the toy. It flew to the sound and came back with a blue parakeet.

Kiki gasps, smiling. “Two!”

The two hop around, playing and talking to each other about being good birds, treats, etc.

Kiki watches, giggling softly.

Leo's parakeet flies up onto your shoulder, gently rubbing it's beak on her cheek and making little kissing sounds.

Kiki starts giggling, gently petting it. “Aww thank you!”

The other parakeet was flying around with the toy, just being a silly little bird. Leo's parakeet continues to make little happy sounds and give her affection.

Kiki smiles brightly, having the time of her life as she plays with the birds.

Yui returns and sits in the doorway of the room, happily watching her play with the two birds.

Kiki doesn’t notice at first, but once she does, she pauses and stares at them.

Yui knew to keep their distance and not to scare her. They were doing their best to make her feel welcomed.

Kiki keeps them in view, slowly relaxing and going back to playing.

The blue bird flew to Yui and spoke to them, greeting them and making kissing sounds as it does the same thing Leo's parakeet did.

Kiki looks over to them, then smiled softly.

Yui gave her a small wave as they sat with the blue parakeet on their shoulder.

Kiki gently waves back, silent.

The blue parakeet flew to Leo's and made the same kissing sounds with it. "Aww. How precious."

Kiki smiles slightly, tilting her head.

They quietly whistle to call the blue parakeet over. The blue one flew over, and perched on their shoulder.

Kiki giggles, watching.

Yui gently pet the bird and let it fly back to Leo's parakeet.

Kiki slowly stands after a while and walks over to them.

Yui stays seated but offers her a hug. They hold out their arms for a hug.
