Resh: He huffs at Tseth, then looks at Alex. “Probably some sort of magic bullshit that could get us home.”

Juni: “Stop acting like ‘magic bullshit’ is new to you-“

Salmook: he blinks "Magic..?" he politely avoids the second word of that phrase
"Oh… that's a problem, right? I don't think anyone knows any 'go-home-now' magic." he sighs

Alex: He notices Resh looking at him. “Don’t look at me, the light magic I know is only good for so much.” He stares at the ground for a moment, lost in thought. “Portals exist where we’re from, but they don’t go to other worlds. Just places on our own. And I don’t know how to make one either way.”

Resh: He shrugs “Worth a shot.” He starts looking around and wandering a bit.

Juni: She looks around and starts hugging herself, clearly very insecure without her wings.

Salmook: he follows alongside Resh, mostly just wandering aimlessly. Resh still has his wings, doesn't he? maybe he could ask Resh to fly up over the canopy and look around? but that'd be bad for his shoulder, wouldn't it? Salmook is busy thinking to himself when he notices something in the forest. something… human-ish. it's hard to tell… but it could be friendly. Salmook resorts to pointing and making noise, instead.

(Salmook his shoulder is great he’s fine)

Tseth: He looks over at Salmook when he starts making noises, and jogs over to him. He looks in the direction Salmook is pointing. “It might not be a good idea to draw attention, kid.”

Alex: He walks over to Juni, to try comforting her. “Hey, are you okay?”

(I will not leave until Resh becomes the father figure of the group to some degree, I shall not disappoint Luna after showing her parts of this chat and getting Approval-)

Resh: He follows Salmook’s gaze, narrowing his eyes. “Who’s there?”

Juni: She looks up at Alex, slightly startled. “Who- me-? I- I’m fine. Haven’t really gone this long without my wings…”

There's movement in the shadows… A tall figure is lurking closer. Decidedly not friendly, by the way it's trying to sneak up on everyone. Salmook panics and hides behind Resh. Through the branches and bushes, the figure draws nearer. It stops at a respectable distance and judges the entire group.

???: standing within earshot, but out of arm's reach. "I should ask the same. Who are you, and what are you doing with my son?"

Salmook: he peeks out from behind Resh's wing-cape-things. he knows that voice, doesn't he? he tries to make a "hold on, wait" gesture, but he can't tell whether anyone's paying attention to him. probably not.

Resh: Oh shit “Your… son?” His tone is a great deal less aggressive than it was beforehand.

Juni: “Yeah- hopefully.” Looks up at Resh “Who is that-?”
