Nathaniel: He dips his head as a ‘you’re welcome’. He never been this nice to someone. “Buttercups have a unique smell to them. Give it a sniff. They remind me of home..” If Nathaniel could be so nice, then why did he act so unruly. So insufferable?
Tseth: “You remind me of my cat-“ He sighs, and looks for something in a pocket. He pulls out a small coin and offers it to the dragon. “A peace offering. As long as you don’t try biting me again.”
Dragon: it cocks its head to the side, staring at the coin. It’s eyes widen a little and it pounces on the coin, tail still lashing

Tseth: He lets go of the coin, letting the dragon examine it for itself while still on his hand. He starts walking over to Alex, who is still sitting near Juni. “I’ve found a friend.”

Naveil: gives the flowers a cautious sniff and tilts his head "They smell like the crops… flowers…? They smell like plants we grew at home… but stronger? It's nice."
Tseth: He lets go of the coin, letting the dragon examine it for itself while still on his hand. He starts walking over to Alex, who is still sitting near Juni. “I’ve found a friend.”
Dragon: circles around the coin and chitters happily at Tseth
Juni: looks up, sees the dragon, and gets excited almost immediately

Nathaniel: He takes a flower out of his hair, holding it close to his chest. "People love the smell of flowers. They're warm and inviting. I guess it's hard to imagine someone like me liking flowers. But essentially, flowers are a gardener's ordeal, not farmers." He looks away.

Naveil sits still a for bit, contemplating this new information. He suddenly trembles, like an awful chill went up his spine, and he shoves the buttercups back towards Nathaniel.
Nathaniel: He looks over at Naviel, tilting his head. "Are you alright?" His slight smile immediately turns into a frown. "What was that for?" He glares at Naviel.
Resh: :/ face
Dragon: starts circling around Alex
Alex: Watches the dragon as it circles, but does nothing else.
Tseth: Watching Alex and the dragon with a small smile.

Alex: Slightly startled by this “What was that for-“ he tries to pry the dragon from where it latched onto his clothing.
Tseth: wheeze- “Alex- maybe you shouldn’t do that-“
Nathaniel: He looks over at Naviel, tilting his head. "Are you alright?" His slight smile immediately turns into a frown. "What was that for?" He glares at Naviel.
Naveil: shivering, stands up "Bad memory. Bad memory- I just had a… oohh, no, no, no… really awful, terrible…" Naveil starts walking in circles, muttering something to himself. He's hyperventilating for seemingly no reason. "I'm really sorry I just had a… whew just a… huff and a…"

Alex: “You named the little bastard?” you need to stop naming every small creature you come across

Nathaniel: He sits there, his shoulders tensing. He watches Naviel, unsure of how to handle him. Nathaniel isn't use to comforting people. Not after — regardless, he didn't know what to do. "Will you be…" What is the word? "Fine?" It comes out wrong. He mutters the word in a tone of annoyance. Nathaniel places his hands over his face, unsure of what to do.
Naveil: sits himself down, breathing shakily [unsure] "Of course I'll be fine. It's not real. It's not real. It's over and done with, and I can't fix it or stop it or change it or help it or anything else. It is completely fine." He's still shivering like crazy, and his eyes are closed tight.
Nathaniel: He bites his tongue. There is one thing his sister did when he was upset. Nathaniel reaches out and places a hand on Naveil's shoulder. "Then it's not real. He really didn't do this comforting thing. He would rather set a trashcan on fire. But this kid reminds Nathaniel of his younger self. A sudden protectiveness grew within Nathaniel.
Naveil shivers less, but he becomes more… rigid. He can barely turn his head to acknowledge Nathaniel's hand. "See? It's not real. Be… because it's in the past. So you can stop panicking! Remember something good already!"
After a minute or so, the shaking subsides for the most part, but Naveil just… sits there, unreactive.
(And suddenly Naveil has earned the demon lord's grace)
Nathaniel: He watches Naveil's progression. He pulls his hand away, then looks down at him. What is wrong with him. He's not supposed to protect another being. But yet, he wants to. "Forcing yourself to remember something good never works. Trust me, I know. Live in the moment, for the past it unsavory." And yet Nathaniel always lives in the past.
